I pray yours will be faster than this in Jesus name.
Intact I remember asking my sister how it went on that day. And her response was that she was shocked. That intact I acted like Jackie shan. grin

Good morning, I have been following this thread as a silent reader, in the spirit of giving back. I got my visa last year before getting pregnant and also sent in a letter of intent to the embassy. Entered Jfk yesterday via ba and it was a smooth sail, I was only asked if I was here for holidays and I said yes and also to have my baby, then he asked for how long and if I have any relatives to take care of me, that was all oh and told me congratulations and have a safe delivery no secondary inspection and no agriculture.

Waiting for my connecting flight to LA, I'm also using Dr M and St Francis H.

Pls Hotstepper if u still read this thread, I am 24wks Preggy and I want apply for Canadian visa cos I want deliver there. How should I apply and am I supposed to tell them that my reason for going is cos I want to deliver or should we just apply for visa and the stay back for the birth. Pls can u recommend a cheaper hospital and the breakdown of the cost of delivery both VD and CS. Can they turn one back at the pint of entry because of the preggy. Pls I need the information urgent because I want to apply before I get to 30wks cos some airlines will not agree to carry o e after that period. I want to have the flexibility to choose what I want now and not have to be forced to take anything else cos of time. I hope to hear from u soon.
I have read a lot of good testimonies about and I hope to give mine too one day and tell my own experience.
Thanks for your anticipated response.

Tickets are really going down.

Just bought my LA ticket from Virgin for 480k+... will be traveling in October...The same ticket was about 700k+ two weeks ago and over 1m last month... Downside with Virgin though is that there is a long long layover in London (18hours or so going and 7hours coming).

I don't mind the lay over- I prefer it sef as I have a UK visa and where to sleep and relax in London. It will also make the journey less stressful for Me.

Hustle for PTA begins.

God go bless our collective hustle.

Being a long time i posted a comment here.

My wife colleague had US and Canada visa, Us visa was for Child birth while Canadian Visa was for vacation and visit. So she decided to move to Canada (with preggy) to spend some weeks before going to the US for child birth. On getting to Canada POE, she told the Canadian CBP that she came for a short vacation before heading to the US, even showed them her US visa in her passport. They insisted they came to birth in Canada, they finally stamped her in for one week and told her, when she is going back to Naija after one week let her come and pick up her passport with them.

Omo! the matter plenty, she came back to naija booked another flight to the US at the space of 4days @ 36 weeks plus.

rather than using these agents and then if you need to change any details, you pay through your nose, just go to the website and book on the airline directly! Just my thoughts oh!

Happy Sunday great mothers and fathers in this house and greeting to all expectant mothers in the house planning to embark on the missionary journey.
I came across this forum in my quest for information as regards the process of acquiring US visa for childbirth, I am here to say thank you to all that helped me out during the filling of the DS 160 form for me, my wife and baby.
They went for their interview alone, this is because I choose a different date due to my work and will be going for my interview on a later date. The interview went well….. here is the transcript of what my wife told me.
DW: Good morning madam with a smile.
VO: Good morning, your passport please,
DW: Gave her 2 passports
VO: who owns the second passport?.
DW: Its for my 19months old little daughter she was here but ran out to play with some kids.
VO: Go and get her I want to see her.
VO: how many kids do u have and reason for your visit to the US?
DW: I have just her, but I am having another soon. Reason for visit is to have my baby and for family vacation.
VO: Where is your husband now and why is he not here with you?
DW: He cannot make it down here because of his job schedule but will come for his interview at a later date. I have his letter showing he is to take charge for the whole expenses of this trip.
VO: I don’t need it, give me the bank statement and which of the hospital are you using and how did you hear about the hospital?
DW: Handed over the statement of account, a family friend used same doctor and recommended him to us.
VO: why do you choose to have your baby in the US?
DW: Am a medical doctor and I wasn’t treated well in my last delivery .
VO: what have you done to improve in the health care delivery in Nigeria.
DW: I work in a Christian hospital and we treat patients based on our God fearing nature…………… VO cuts her off while checking the bank statement, DW peeped and saw that she hasn’t checked the second bank statement, so she reminded her that there was another bank statement she was not checking and VO said ,” I won’t be needing that” , by then my daughter was struggling with DW to run out again to play, as she bent down to hold our daughter, all she heard was “ i have approved visa for you both, kindly go through the guidelines for childbirth in the US, she handed her two white papers. She picked up their visa two days after from DHL at wuse II. I give the ALMIGHTY CREATOR thanks for his mercy, and confirming the word of his servant. Want to also thank all the gurus here in the house for the whole write up and a big thanks to those that answered most of my questions in the time of need. Thanks once again……………………………….
Please am still battling with the flight issue due to the high fares for ticket. Please any one that have details on how to go about the booking of local flight from New York (JFK) to El Paso because she will be using the services of Doctores ParaTi. Please brothers and sisters I need help with the flight infos

I asked a simple question here and i see some people laughing, oh so serious. Am i expected to go through part 1 to part 4 where part 1 alone is 400 pages. I saw houston was mentioned most and Dr fagbohun was mentioned as well which i have used him before, so that is why am asking if anyone know of any other doctor. And i asked of accomodation info, but i realised some people just choose to roll off their bed. I read from part one till part 4 till this particular post for days, that was why i thought this will be a good forum to ask. But since some people choose to make mockery of themselves, then goodluck to them.

Yes.

Give yourself a target. 100 pages a day.

Skip the discussions that you are not interested in.

Get a jotter and make notes.

Nobody is going to do it for you.

Cheers.

I have read and i have been through all that was discussed, maybe you didnt see my first question, i have been to usa for vac, then later to have my first child, i used doc fagbohun. Other post were 2015 which i have been there, now am asking simply of recent information, i have my visa, getting close to travel and i think asking if there is any recent info is an offence. I already said i learnt from what i read. If you dont have info, then skip it.
