Christians are no longer obligated to pay tithes, my brother. Stylishly shading those who don't or raining curses on them by some false self-acclaimed men of God, is fraud.

Giving our 'widow's might' or our all to the Church, and more especially the poor, should come from the heart, not fostered by fear, nor compulsion.

When you call a man who you don't know in depth, "man of God ", "Prophet" etc you have made a judgement call. Bestowing upon men essentially Godly attributes with worldly parameters.

The Bible says by their fruits we shall know them Matthew 7:16 and Galatians 5:22, the fruits of the spirit add to that 2 Corinthians 12 (whole chapter) on the true apostle . But alas 80% of Christians don't read their Bibles and of the other 20% who do, less than 7% actually study and meditate on the word.

It's not judgement to use God's given standard to discern truth it is Wisdom to ignore, not to do so is FOOLISHNESS indeed.

They've been psychologically bamboozled, help me ask them if the spirit of ostentatiousness should be seen anywhere near a leader of the church of Christ, or what example are the current crop of guy men pastors setting, or if there is similar in the scriptures?

In sane countries, even the richest of political leaders keep it simple 'cause of their status as role models -- this ain't no hip-hop, and they are no Puff daddy nor Birdman.

The word of God can be used to judge anyone. Or is the word of God not God himself taking?
The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and thoughts of the heart. Heb. 4:12
If we can't judge here how are people to know the false from real prophets and prevent themselves from being led astray?

Great Peopke don't make noise,they live a very simple & humble life..I don't know where some men of God see their arrant wealth display in the bible..they throw caution to the wind boasting about their wealth..to me it is a very wrong mentality & it happens mainly in this part of the world.
