A friend of mine visited me so I used microwave to heat up the food I wanted to serve her. She said I shouldn't use microwave again that it causes cancer. And that is why the rich people always die of cancer.

FALSE!! Microwave emits non-ionizing radiation as opposed to xray etc that emits inonizing radiation continuous exposure of wch may b a risk factor for cancer.

So, can you get cancer from a microwave heating up food by eating said food? No

But microwaves work by emitting some small amounts of radiation. Which is why you probably shouldn't buy an old microwave, as the door may not close well and allow trace amounts of radiation through. So, can you get cancer from standing in front of a microwave that doesn't have a well-sealed door and is constantly on? Probably, very, very hard but there's a small chance.

The noodles is not the problem. Its the spice in some of them especially the Nigerian popular brands( Indomie, Chikkie etc) that is the problem. The spices contain MSG which is dangerous not only for cancer but to other organs in the body

Yup, MSG is the problem. Even worse, the Nigerian Nutrional Society endorses Indomie Noodles. No other country in their right mind does.

By the way, we get radiation from a lot of things: the sun, an x-ray etc. You may get cancer much faster by eating processed foods loaded with artificial sweeteners and MSG. So noodles with a bottle of coke daily, your body will break down faster.

And as Climate change gets worse, you may get cancer from being constantly in the Sun. The only reason skin cancer isn't so prevalent in Africa is because God and Nature ensured millions of years ago to keep the skin colour of those close to the equator dark with high melanin. So its best for ladies to stop bleaching or toning (all those chemicals are shutting down kidneys and livers, ladies). And as for men, remember this, the Ozone layer depleted a lot more in our lifetime than in our grandfathers and didn't recover as much. So yeah, your ancestor didn't have cancer doesn't mean jack.
