Yes it possible to even cross with 100$ but depends on your bargaining factor, the real deal is when you arrive UAE, accommodation, feeding,transportation, miscellaneous. so in all, get prepared.

wen I looked in on d map, I saw that Qatar is a tiny country compared to UAE ,,,, in fact UAE is abt 8times bigger than Qatar....
so no wonder Qatar is tighter
