Instead of going to church, attend fellowships and bible studies. Let me tell you, although I should be keeping this to myself, but I didn't go to Church today but I spent quality time with the word of God, I felt so energized in spirit than attending a normal Sunday sermon that will ask for my tithes later. People go to church regularly and still fornicate and commit adultery, and the problem is because they make going to church ceremonial and traditional. If I were you, I will start abiding in his word and meditating on it day and night(Joshua 1: 8 ). Also read the temptation of Jesus in Matthew 4, we should be living on the word of God. The personal relationship you have with God will be far better than what any preacher will tell you. I don't know it all but I want to keep studying his word. God have mercy on us all.

........some don't even open their Bible only in Sunday basis.....yet dey calm to be holy....See going by different pastors we have diz days wll only make someone more far away from God..BUT by the time we realize that we are not going to church to see pastor but God then dat settle it all.........And remember he said we should not forsake d gathering of his brethren... knowing full well that deir is more blessing to that.....WHEN WE KNOW THE TRUTH, THE TRUTH SHALL SET US FREE....

Hello brother, I'm a born again Christian who experiences the same thing. The thing is that you are an elect, a person whose desire for spirituality is manifesting. Churchgoing is flesh, being born again is being always or mostly in the Spirit.

You're in a phase of searching for real Bible truths not the shallow Christianity in Churches.

Being a Christian isn't about church. Hardwork, discipline, determination and loyalty to God in staying on this narrow path will build your character as you develop a more intimate bond with the Spirit. Do these everyday and the lord will guide you to the gathering of fellow like minded children of God.

12am, Wake to communicate with the Spirit and tell him all your desires of seeking his kingdom and joining the right fellowship. Pray ceaselessly even as you step into your house when returning...

Denounce sin before him every night and while the encountering it in the day.

Avoid sinning cos he's watching and living in you.

Do this till it becomes a habit.

He'll guide you even as you leave your worldly friends behind, get knowledge of the word, witness Him before others etc.

Find JDF. If you're being real, He will lead you there. Don't ask me what it is, ask Him.

Lol! Very normal, especially if you don't even know the reason why you attend in the first place. However, here's my advice,if where you attend bores you, and you don't seem to learn anything new,and you are willing to do more and be better. Then find another Christian assembly.
I suggest Daystar.
Take time to understand why you are a Christian in the first place, is there more to just going to church? Do you have a God given assignment or purpose to fulfill?
Why are you here? Why are you a Nigerian?
You need to find answers to this and fast.
I feel you at a crossroads in your life it's time to be made or be just there.
The choice is yours...

My Christian fanatic housemate was playing redeemed daddy G.O sermon. He started by telling them they are blessed in the house, blessed on the outside, all the jobless people will get job this year, all the business people will prosper... And so on. Then he concluded by saying these blessings will not come to anyone that does not obey God by paying their tithe and offering. ROFL.

The problem is the simple gospel of God saving us and calling us with a holy calling to live unto Him has been hijacked by Men who pretend to know God more than anyone and make a name and fortune from themselves.I feel you bro.There are still few churches that preach the whole truth with no main superman Pastor that act like a Old covenant priest but rather as a New covenant Brother.

I will say it depends on two things, the problem cab either be from the church you are attending or from you. the church service maybe monotonous, more of rituals n traditions, anyone will be bored with this type of church, if that is the case, I will suggest you find another denomination. on the other hand, d prob may be with you. are you born again? do you deeply believe in God? do you enjoy fellowshipping with God personally and in private? if you only go to church to fulfill the law of Sabbath or cause your folks brought you up to attend church, then I will say till your heart changes, church service may cont to be boring.

hmm nice post. If you are saved out there and you are reading this post.. I. E the one I quoted then you will agree that the harvest is plenty but the workers are few. You can easily see that the poster misinterpreted the scripture she quoted even without her knowing.
