This book gave me a nightmare when I read Abraham trying to sacrifice his son... Around this time some family friends of Igbo descent happens to be having an end of the year association party around the neighborhood and the popular Osodu Owedi song was playing all night which added the perfect sound track for my nightmare. Honestly I became afraid of my dad doing the same.. Understanding was really poor then.

You could be brought up in a christian home without having it.
Afterall, the most important is having the bible while any other christian publication/literature is a matter of choice.

The book tried to relay bible messages to the mind of the kids through visual. Its a wonderful book. I enjoyed it when i was a kid and it helped me understand the scriptures. It's a product of Jehovah witness for the kids.
