Here is kernel with working LED from my port version 2, it should fix LED charging and LED notification bug.
This is not tested on version 1 of the rom, so please test and report.
I am away from home, so can't upload the whole rom now.
1- Download kernel from attachment
2- unzip it (it is not a flashable zip)
3- flash it using twrp (select install image)
4- or flash it via SP flash tool.

I use a combination of various dark themes with the help of Arcus (it's a CM theme customization app).

Thanks, it has bn resolved, i wiped the cache partition,I cleared all cache of all applications and I freed some space on device....

In the last 24 hours. Users of Android One devices across the world have started receiving Android 7.0 Nougat OTA updates from Google beginning with Cherry Mobile G1.

Root on XOS
Finally Root on XOS rom!


Guys you won't believe it, but I achieved root on XOS rom, How!? I used infinix Hot 4 kernel and it booted! This is really uncommon and we are very lucky.
It appears that Android one marshmallow kernel was causing the root issue in all ported Android 6.0 roms for Hot 2, but I don't know why since Root work fine on Android one rom! still a mystery to me.

How to get root?
Download kernel from the attachments, unzip/extract it (it is not a flashable zip) and flash it using TWRP (remember to select install image not zip).
or rename the kernel into boot.img and then flash it with SP flashtool.
After that flash the systemless root via twrp recovery, you can find it here. (Original thread)

What fixes included in this kernel?
Rootable via systemless root.
"Fonts not change" bug fix.
LED charging and LED notifications fix.

Other things:
USB OTG is not tested on this kernel. (test and report)
Flash light toggle is still broken. (error in logcat:W System.err: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /sys/class/torch/torch/torch_level: open failed: ENOENT (No such file or directory)

Other bug fixes will be included in the second version, just be patient, I will upload it later.

Good evening house, I have infinix hot 2 running on lollipop. I saw an update of marshmallow size 682mb. I tried downloading it but couldn't. It is requesting for WiFi to download. I tried to use hotspot from my other phone but it still refused to download. Please somebody help with how to download it

In my previous fix I said that Hot 4 kernel booted on hot 2, that's mean that if Hot 4 kernel support OTG we gonna have that features.
But unfortunately I was mistaken, the scenario is as the following and it is a lil bit funny; since I'm travelling I don't have Hot 4 firmware with me, so I asked bro @Mazen Yasser to upload original Hot 4 boot.img for me (I wanted to upload fixed kernel with LED and fonts support), after that I thought I may try to flash hot 4 kernel and root the rom then restore back my ported kernel, Altough I know this won't work, but nothing I gonna lose.. And I was very surprised to find that hot 4 kernel booted on my hot 2! This is really uncommon and never happened before! I tried to flash root on this kernel and it worked (Btw I'm using version 2 of the rom, it is fixed and kernel wasn't the issue as I thought).
I became so excited and happy believing that hot 4 kernel boots and it is rootable xD until I discovered that Mazen didn't give me the boot.img from original hot 4 firmware, he uploaded my ported kernel from my ported XOS! Which is actually Android one MM kernel *Facepalm*

First of all, sorry guys for giving you false hope about USB OTG.

Second, all other fixes announced will be present in version two of the rom, so nothing to worry about.

I'm just posting this because I do not like to lose credibility, and I do not like to post wrong information.

so are you saing the rom is rootable but no otg. I have the xos version 1,and the bug fix of 7.4mb.do i still need to flash v2 to achieve root. Data is scarce now adays
