Followed this same procedure. NO sound issues.

my phone sef no gree downgrade back to 5.1,im currently on cm13 now. My audio sound is a bit louder tanks to dolby atmos but the vol is nothing compared to my previous rom. [this cm13 ram mangement is bad im using 2gb ram version ]what other marshmallow rom can u reccomend that is good. Can go back to Xos cos the camera is horrific

Resore stock TWRP backup first before downgrading.
Try any of the port MM. XOS is still better. Camera is good. Google camera app is also included. just try out d Camera modes and tune

Yea. Just flash TWRP recovery then install the ROM. Not complusory to be on MM.

unfortunately, I was unable to get my pc to detect the phone, tried all the drivers I know, none worked.. Any way to flash twrp without pc?

its my twrp backup im talking about, i even downloaded my previous custom rom. Still refuse to boot. Was not impressed by Xos cam. If not i would be on that rom. But i think its different bugs to different phones. And most annoyingly i call hear call well because of the low audio even with earpiece

Yes you can.
firstly download the ROM
Also download twrp recovery & #rasher App.

TWRP_3.0.2_Repacked_for_X510-D5110(recommended).
extract(use es file explorer/RAR) MT6580_Androidone_ROM_scatter.txt + recovery.img +META-INF] and place them in a folder.

1. Root device(try kingroot)

2. Open #rasher

3. Take backup of stock recovery and kernel

4. GO to recovery menu and flash twrp recovery.img via rasher App[Device must be rooted] in folder placed

5. click reboot to recovery then wait to boot into recovery mode.

on Twrp recovery click mount(select all)

-wipe davllik, system, cache[do not wipe internal & External storage]

-install the zip files(Rom)
flash successful!
reboot.

I had that issue of downgrading but after Resoring my stock lollipop 5.1 Rom backup on Twrp recovery it fixed downgrading.

maybe it failled. No OS means nothing on system partition.
- Try unchecking IMEI when restoring.
- check mount (system)

backup must contain system file. It's the bulk of the backup

Men it was not easy, you have to be fast and also have a fast network. put off auto update of date and time zone then change date to one day after u can download with cellular and quickly go to system update and keep tapping on update. make sure u don't swipe your notification bar down and don't leave the update screen.
N.B set your display timeout to 30mins or so

About the sound bug you talked about I've seen it. The ROM worked fine for me without sound bug when I first installed the rom. I later decided to flash stock ROM(system) then reinstall the ROM but to my surprise bugs appeared including sound bug.

I'm currently on 5.1 XUI + Xposed installed and its cool with some modules I installed. You can modify almost every thing in the ROM.

More modules to explore soon.

sometimes its a rom problem u need to clear the rom and flash another Android one rom back
