IsThisChange: They are tactfully cleaning Okonjo Iwealas name from kworoption list.it has become clear that their saintly minister of finance is as brainless as her principal and now they stylishly want to beg NOI to forgive their mouth cancer and help them out.I will not be surprise if they platter their plea for her to yield to helping their helpless situation but will be more surprise at the magic of NEPA Bill certificate and PhD certificate bringing out desired economic reform |

paschal47: She is not coming even if they ask. If PMB had this nation at hart as claimed, he would have retained her and some other functioning minister of the past administration. Now see where APC pride has lead our economy to. |

When a star is born, shinning beautifully; no amount of bad belle from some wicked people- you know who- can dent her illumination. Ngozi don shine for Ibadan, Nigeria, America, UK, and all over the World. Jump into the ocean or grab a handful of rat poison if you can't live with an Igbo woman being so talented! !! |
Re: Okonjo-iweala May Not Be Guilty Of Fraud — Joda by djon78(m): 3:39pm On Sep 14, 2016 |
I have read a lot of comments before making mine. Jonathan did a lot of wrong things, but the reason why Nigerians economy was better off was not really about the oil earnings, it was simply because of the high number of technocrats he had in his administration; Okonjo Iweala, Akinwunmi Adesina, Olusegun Aganga etc. This present administrations biggest problem is dearth or small number or even no technocrats in her supply. IN addition, majority of Jonathan's technocrats where coming from outside the country, with lots of experiences from having worked in foreign institutions, so they had a full grasp of the entire situation. Why I mentioned technocrats with foreign experience is because these are the people Nigeria needs presently to turn around her fortunes. Nigeria as a nation is so disconnected from the global economy and markets,Nigeria has so much opportunity still going for her, if Nigeria gets her act right, she can spring up to become a big major economy in the world within a space of a decade or 2. But for Nigeria to transform a lot of bureaucracy, fat cats, redundancy must give way. We must get the best of the best to run our systems, not mediocre, ignorant and half baked individuals. We are in an era in the world where knowledge reins supreme, therefore we as a nation have no reason dealing with super ignorant folks running our system. Time is ticking, we must get it right, because if we fail as a nation, a time will come when other parts of the world may not even tolerate us anymore. There is so much going for this nation, a word is enough for the wise. We as a nation must seek for the best form of knowledge out there, we must completely overhaul our education and economic system, I will say it again, we need to get the best of the best, because those we have now have never really handled massive, complex task before and then they think they can handle the precarious situation the nation is in now. I rest my case. Thanks |

djon78:bla bla bla bla So they singularly delivered your phantom economic growth without having using career civil servants who are probably still serving the current government as we debate Don't you understand the simple dynamics of economics? Phew |

[s] OBAGADAFFI:[/s] Mission Her primary mission is accountability and even to start with, she had no business approving or taking part in any fund release not mandated by the Nigerian legislature, the whole exercise was illegal. I guess we lost billions because of illegal waivers because her ministry was not responsible and accountable for granting them to cronies I guess we lost billions of dollars under NNPC because she was not responsible and accountable for keeping track of our earnings and making sure every kobo was deposited I guess she was not responsible and accountable when we lost hundreds of billions for years when she paid ghost workers under her nose I guess she was not responsible and accountable when she looked the other way while income generating agencies and MDAs pocketed every kobo instead of depositing it into the federal account in her care I guess she was not responsible or accountable for diversifying our economy when oil was selling for $100 I guess she was not responsible and accountable when she was borrowing hundreds of billions of dollars when oil was selling for $80 and setting us up for financial meltdown.. I guess she was not responsible when in 2014 she told us to get ready for suffering and austerity when oil was selling for $80 In fact she was not responsible or accountable for anything, we just hired and paid her top dollars for making sure every looter easily loot us dry while she looked the other way and even facilitated the looting... Sometimes I just wonder about you and your kind... |

jaybee3: Career civil servants my foot. Tell the ones presently running the system to fix the problem!!! You can rant all you will but know it that you can not give what you don't have, you don't get experience by working or exposing yourself to half baked institution or organisations and my friend, experience is very costly and it is very rare.. If the present government in power continues to rely on those presently running the show, where you will find yourself in a years time will be only a child's play. |

djon78:
Technocrat who as the finance minister and economic coordinator who couldn't manage and diversify our economy when oil was selling for $100, but instead borrowing hundreds of billions every year to pay salaries? Obviously the most useless, worthless and incompetent Technocrat known to man.. Brace for tougher times ahead, Okonjo-Iweala tells Nigerians A technocrat who in 2014 told us to get ready for recession , pain and austerity when oil was selling for $80, so please tell us what the technocrat going to do or advise with oil selling for $30-40? Sell Nigeria of course.. Obviously the most useless, worthless and incompetent Technocrat known to man.. |

collinsVP:That money has always been part of every year CBN budget for CSR, Sanusi only spent the money on what it is meant for though majorly for Northerner states. As there will always be wasteful spending in any arms of government/parastatals/agencies, Sanusi oversees one of the least wasteful ones. Sanusi might have his odds but his financial policy (normative economics) helps but the financial sectors and the customers and has helped wise and regulation complaint banks to sustained themselves with real sector in the time of recession and TSA implementation, you can ask Union bank. |

aresssa: Where were your likes, when same woman work under OBJ, secured debt forgiveness and increase the foreign reserve . For information, the discussion on government spendings starts and ends with Politician(President, Governors, and legislators). Minster/commissioner of Finance don't award and implement contracts outside their ministry. Minster/commissioner of Finance don't dictate which project to implement to Politicians(President, Governors, and legislators) should approve or jettison. Minster/commissioner of Finance don't prepare budgets for other MDA's . Her accountability is keeping is proper documentation and records of all government spendings. And that she has done. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is an agbado inu igo

[s] OBAGADAFFI:[/s] We know OBJ sacked her unceremoniously and she failed miserably under 2 different administrations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltrsjqTE_p8 ^^^ And in the above video, the useless woman openly confessed to the world how miserably she failed us so keep quiet, she admitted she failed so I don't need any silly, meaningless and pointless rubbish from you and your kind.. |

I wonder how people like you have the conscience to celebrate thieves after all the suffering we are experiencing in this country and the lives lost during the Boko Haram crisis. |

What kind of brain stands and watch the robbing of a whole country until it is in a recession. She was not a brain but a evil cloud that caused suffering on over a hundred million Nigerians. Sad she has people like you who celebrate the evil she caused. The same ones who abuse Buhari. |
