1) Dr Joe Abah was actually appointed by President Goodluck Jonathan in 2013.

2) Dr Joe Abah is not a politician. He is actually a civil servant (He is the director general of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms. He was appointed to that position by Goodluck Jonathan in 2013). He is not a member of APC or PDP.

3) He was one of the people that hyped Innoson vehicles on Twitter (years ago), so there's nothing wrong if he makes his complaints at the exact same place that he praised the product.

4) His complaints have yielded fruit. Innoson officials have visited him to rectify the problem.

You can see that most PhD holders in Nigeria don't ve sense especially if they in politics

I feel so happy within me with Innoson for that action that I feel like dancing. This is because the company has just done the right thing. What this complaint and their positive response will do is to generate more business for the firm within and outside the country and Mark you, Internet does not forget any event.

Today, September 16,2016 I woke up on my bed to read about a brand I can proudly relate with in my country, Not talking about Ford, Toyota, Honda etc but a made in Nigeria brand, thank you Innoson for the good response, you are teaching us that Nigerian can do thing right. To Dr ABBA, thank you for the complaint on twitter, some people condemned your action but you have helped us to know that Innoson is a serious minded business concern.

So a man cannot complain again, if he is not getting good quality performance from an official car that was assigned to him, which is expected to help him carry out his functions? So what if he did not buy it with his money? Does that mean he should continue to suffer in silence, instead of making his concerns public and letting the manufacturer address the problem? Who cares if the manufacturer is a local company, or a foreign one?

How will things ever work properly in this country, if we do not seek redress from those meant to address the problem? Afterall, what is after-sales service all about, if not to ensure that the customer derives satisfaction from a product after it gets to him?

So the right way to seek redress of by going to twitter to say the the product is rubbish, for someone with a high level access like the man? A Ghanaian would buy Innoson because chances are
1) Social media is the 1st place some would ever hear of the name
2) He/She knows that if there's a problem, they can reach out to Innoson via social media and get help.

Firstly, the guy that called out slot on here is a very different case. The was sold a fake, he had already gone back to complain and the staff in that branch of slot connived to treat him like a nobody. Do you realize how different that is?

The man did not even mention innoson's handle since that was his best way, he just made a careless statement to discourage future buyers, how do we grow the naira if we keep dispiriting our own brands.

Look, I know I can't compare Thai rice with anambra rice, would that make me to come on twitter to rant "is this the rice they're making noise about"? He did not buy anything with his money, and even if he did, as a government aide twitter is not where he is supposed to lay a complaint.
So yes, in the United states or the developed Europe, a government aide found to de-market an Indigenous product publicly would be pressured by the labour unions to resign. It has happen many times.

At this stage, it's clear you do not understand the power of social media, it's also clear that you have no idea of marketing and I can't help you with that.

There are lots of example of how brands used complaints on social media to their advantage. A simple Google search would help you.
