However, consider this: "A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach..." 1 Tim. 3:2 Do you see that monogamy is one of the qualifications of a bishop in GOD's church? Do you see that a polygamous man is not allowed to lead GOD's church? Does this show that GOD supports polygamy?

A careful and unbiased study of the Bible will reveal that polygamy was never and will never be GOD's plan for man.

I would say that there are some things happening today that were not in GOD's original plan.

GOD created Adam a vegetarian, but today we eat meat. Eating clean meat is not a sin. However, meat-eating began only after the Flood, and it was not GOD's original plan.

I'm not liking where this is going. Imagine a household where things are not going according to the plan of the head of the family. Wouldn't you think whatever happens is either part of the head of the family's plans or the person has no power to stop it? And we're talking about human families where some things would definitely be beyond the head of the family's powers to control. How much more God who has absolute power and knowledge and fore-knowledge.

I feel if anything's happening, then it's part of God's plan because the only alternative is that he's powerless to stop it. "Allowing" is permission that is not expressly expressed.

If a God who intervenes in human affairs constantly had actually sent his son to commit suicide and sent his holy spirit to inspire followers and start up a church post-Jesus,,christianity would have only only one denomination in a singular dogma as it is a singular spirit who does this inspiration..

Yes, that's the whole point! Sin exists today, but it was never GOD's plan. GOD called everything He created "perfect." Even Satan was once a covering cherub. GOD didn't create him "satan" and GOD never wished Him to become Satan.

However, He has allowed sin reign so man can see the effects of disobeying GOD.

This is directed just at bishops na. It's just like a university saying all students of computer science must own a laptop of theirs. It doesn't mean the school is saying all students of the school including those in other departments are required to have laptop. Just that if you intend to study this particular course, this is the prerequisite for it.

So God stating it for Bishops doesn't mean it's also his intention for everyone else.

With this argument, one can say that the epistles to the Romans and Corinthians and Ephesians apply only to those people, and not to every Christian.
