I have a Toyota Highlander now. The first Highlander i bought gave me so much trouble that i had to sell it and then went and bought another Highlander. The new one has not failed to start for even one day. I still drive that highlander till this day.

I take 2 of my banks to task on twitter on a regular basis & like proactive business minded folks, they quickly take things to DM & make efforts to resolve and say "Thank you" thereafter.... it's akin to what Innoson's rep has done, like it's obtainable in saner climes.. "global best practices" style!!

Comprehension is a problem for you, I can see. He is a government aide who was probably given a car by the FG.
He did not buy anything with his money, and even if he did, as a government aide twitter is not where he is supposed to lay a complaint.
So yes, in the United states or the developed Europe, a government aide found to de-market an Indigenous product publicly would be pressured by the labour unions to resign. It has happen many times.

We know how mechanical evolution is and it is not a cake walk. When Daewoo and Kia came tqo Nigeria in the late eighties and early nineties it was the same thing. Their workshops were littered with unservicable vehicles because Nigerians were used to the reliability of Japanese brands and the rugedness of European and American brands. Today Korean cars are the number one brands in Nigeria and in the top three selling worldwide. We should only react negatively to trends not instances. Who knows how the man uses and maintains his vehicle and if he is sincere in his appraisal.

1) Dr Joe Abah was actually appointed by President Goodluck Jonathan in 2013.

2) Dr Joe Abah is not a politician. He is actually a civil servant (He is the director general of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms. He was appointed to that position by Goodluck Jonathan in 2013). He is not a member of APC or PDP.

3) He was one of the people that hyped Innoson vehicles on Twitter (years ago), so there's nothing wrong if he makes his complaints at the exact same place that he praised the product.

4) His complaints have yielded fruit. Innoson officials have visited him to rectify the problem.
