Crime is worse than where you are presently. Don't make your situation worse. Everyone has his own cross to bear. This phase of life will pass you by. Hang on bro. What did you study and where are you based? |

EXCUSES FOR FAILURE, THE KILLER OF TALENTS A KING CALLED TOGETHER A NUMBER OF HIS SUBJECTS AND SET THEM TO DIG A SERIES OF FURROWS. TO EACH MAN HE GAVE A DIFFERENT SPADE. ONE CONSIDERED THAT HIS SPADE WAS TOO LONG, ANOTHER THAT HIS WAS TOO SHORT, ANOTHER THAT HIS WAS TOO BROAD, YET ANOTHER THAT HIS WAS TOO NARROW AND SO ON. THEY SPENT A WHOLE LOT OF TIME DISCUSSING THESE DEFECTS AND MADE VERY LITTLE PROGRESS ON THE JOB. BUT ONE MAN JUST TOOK OFF HIS COAT AND BEGAN TO DIG AS BEST AS HE COULD WITH THE SPADE HE HAD RECEIVED. HE FINISHED HIS “FURROW” LONG BEFORE THE OTHERS, ALTHOUGH HIS SPADE WAS NO BETTER THAN THAT OF THE OTHERS. LIFE IS LIKE DIGGING A “FURROW”! YOU HAVE SOME DREAMS, SOME GOALS, ASPIRATIONS, SOMETHING YOU WANT, AND YOU HAVE A SPADE, GET DOWN TO WORK, DON’T WASTE TIME THINKING OF HOW MUCH BETTER YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN OR SUCCEEDED IF YOU HAD OTHER TALENTS AND ADVANTAGES (A BETTER SPADE) LIKE A HIGHER EDUCATION, A HANDSOME FACE, A BETTER BRAIN, A RICH PARENT AND SO ON ALWAYS REMEMBER; NOBODY HAS IT ALL, YOU MUST DIG YOUR OWN “FURROW”! YOU ARE YOU AND THERE IS VERY LITTLE YOU OR ANY ONE CAN DO ABOUT IT, STOP TRYING TO BE SOMEONE ELSE, GET DOWN TO THE JOB, THE TIME TO BEGIN IS NOW AND THE PLACE TO START FROM IS RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE. FORGET YOUR OWN ASSUMED INADEQUACIES AND YOU WILL REALIZE TO YOUR SURPRISE HOW MUCH EASY IT IS TO SUCCEED. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF COMPARING YOURSELF WITH OTHERS WHEN IT IS REALLY NOT NECESSARY. DO NOT LOOK FOR EXCUSES, STOP LOOKING FOR EXCUSES, DO THE THINGS YOU THINK YOU FEAR AND WATCH THE FEAR DISAPPEAR AND DO IT NOW, IT WILL SOON BECOME A HABIT AND THE FEAR WILL BE A THING OF THE PAST. bro l had to dig this out from my Facebook page. the folks who commented above on your thread are kind enough at least you owe the some gratitude. currently in Nigeria you simply need 3 simple steps to put food on the table, viz: Some THOUGHT, CREATIVITY, AND INITIATIVE, you can develop those points to suit you. l wish you the best.. but stay aware from crime, it bites more than serpent. 1 Like

I think today makes it exactly six years I graduated from a state owned university somewhere here in Nigeria with a fairly good result. After so many application and numerous interviews, I am yet to get a job.have u tried buying and selling business? identify a need in ur immediate environment(life food stuffs) and source the items where it is relatively low and come and market it to people around u. u can as well meet people that own restaurants or any fast food and strike a deal with them on items u can supply them. u can start small and dont complain about capital because the only thing needed to start a business is a vision not capital. Also dont forget to put everything in the hands of God because he said "SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND".I hope this meets u in good faith..Take care |

I think today makes it exactly six years I graduated from a state owned university somewhere here in Nigeria with a fairly good result. After so many application and numerous interviews, I am yet to get a job.No body owes u anything bro. ur destiny is in ur hands At age 5 his Father died. At age 16 he quit school. At age 17 he had already lost four jobs. At age 18 he got married. Between ages 18 and 22, he was a railroad conductor and failed. He joined the army and washed out there. He applied for law school he was rejected. He became an insurance sales man and failed again. At age 19 he became a father. At age 20 his wife left him and took their baby daughter. He became a cook and dishwasher in a small cafe. He failed in an attempt to kidnap his own daughter, and eventually he convinced his wife to return home. At age 65 he retired. On the 1st day of retirement he received a cheque from the Government for $105. He felt that the Government was saying that he couldn’t provide for himself. He decided to commit suicide, it wasn’t worth living anymore; he had failed so much. He sat under a tree writing his will, but instead, he wrote what he would have accomplished with his life. He realised there was much more that he hadn’t done. There was one thing he could do better than anyone he knew. And that was how to cook. So he borrowed $87 against his cheque and bought and fried up some chicken using his recipe, and went door to door to sell them to his neighbours in Kentucky. Remember at age 65 he was ready to commit suicide. But at age 88 Colonel Sanders, founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Empire was a billionaire. Moral of the story: Attitude. It's never too late to start all over. MOST IMPORTANLY, IT'S ALL ABOUT YOUR ATTITUDE. NEVER GIVE UP NO MATTER HOW HARD IT GETS. You have what it takes to be successful. Go for it and make a difference. 3 Likes |
