Why is this man just mentioning foil and gas. No diversification of way of generating power. when dia oiel dried up, that is when they will start thinking of other way of generating power |

wickedboi:it is very rare for a Nation to totally privatize such strategic asset as it will leave them open to being arm-twisted or held ransom. what should be done is full commercialization under competent management without political meddling which is impossible in our dear Nation. by the way, people should also stop stealing the little we are producing and pay for what they consume. |

Adminisher: a simple google search will show you that privatization started 2005 with the EPSR act and was completed with handing over by November 1st 2013. "Dumbo" was not the president then. unless all you refer to someone else has "Dumbo". edit: checked your posts and realized that you actually refer to GEJ as " Dumbo". while I don't know what made him deserve that name(given that you all voted him in "only the dumb votes a dumb man in", a zombie is not much different to a wailer as far as I am concerned. they are both impoverished individuals with slave mentality trying to justify to the world what they don't belief in just to get their next pay. |

wickedboi: youngice: So how does that justify Nigeria being in darkness if Egbin is down? The point is no matter how big Egbin is, it is not the only power plant in Nigeria and can't be in darkness because of it. 1 Like |

menxer:we need Egbin to stabilize the system if Egbin goes out completely. I assure you there will be system collapse and it will take weeks to get us back to around 1500-2500MW. |
Re: Nigeria May Soon Be In Total Darkness — Egbin CEO by menxer: 12:31pm On Sep 18, 2016 |
Ozone2015: That is not what I am saying. from what you are saying does that mean if Egbin is down no other power plant will function putting us in darkness until Egbin is up and running? |
