1. Stay in Good Shape
We guys want to be aroused by sexy figures not bag of bones or bloated balloons. Granted some of us like the very skinny but the normal guy wants flesh to be in the right places. You can exercise or cut down on the excess fat by dieting. Do not starve, just eat less and eat right. And if you're thin, then you need to be sent to the fattening room.

2. Make Your Own Cash
Yes, traditionally we should take care of your needs but hey, we are in a recession so we don't want you to be a financial drain on our lean bank accounts. We can pay for the occasional hair, buy gifts and take you shopping every now and then but you should be able to take care of your basic needs. Don't be flashing or sending us Please Send Me Credit texts.

3. Look, Act and Dress Like a Woman
We want to date girls, women, ladies, but we don't want to date men in disguise. We can't be in bed with you and be wondering what the hell we are doing in bed with our fellow man.

4. Be Good/Great in Bed But Don't Be a Slut
Yes, we want you to be very active in bed, know a few styles, blow us in the right way and ride us to heavenly satisfaction but we don't expect you to know way too much. 5. Be Submissive To Us

Naturally, Nigerian men want to be the captains so they are quick to run from women who are not submissive.

6. Be Smart And Intelligent
Well, so many Nigerian women think that their privates is God's greatest gift to them. They are wrong. Your privates make us want to take you to bed, but your brain makes us want to keep you. So we don't want airheads in well packaged bodies. We crave intelligent discussions and wise ideas.

7. Be A Good Cook
You know what they say? Food is the way to a man's heart. No, make that Food is the way to a Nigerian man's heart.

8. Don't Keep Too Many Guy Friends
Yes, we know you are more comfortable with guy friends than girls, but keep them to a minimum. We feel threatened by them because we know there is almost nothing like girl friends for guys. 9 out of 10 of your so called guy friends will sleep with you once they get the chance, and yes they go to bed every night planning it. And they're quick to tell you we are not good enough, or give you a shoulder to cry on every time we fall short.

9. Use Less Make Up
Yes, we all love glamorous looking women. That's why its becoming so common to see those before and after makeup pictures of ugly ducklings turning to swans. But sometimes, Nigerian women make up too much and end up looking like witches. Dear girlfriend, we want to see your beauty without the excessive makeup and the fake eyelashes.

10. Hey, Leave Your Phone For A Second
This is a frustrating norm. Nigerian girls just can't put their phones down. They're on twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp, Instachat, Badoo, Snapchat and whatever it is Mark Zuckerberg is yet to make. They're taking selfies in toilets and showing off their newest fake GL necklaces on Snapchat. Well, that's totally annoying to Nigerian guys. When you're on dates with us, please try to use your expensive gadgets less. They're always with you, we are not.
