He was also very controversial.

There were lots of radical things being said about him! People called him a glutton and a drunkard. They called him a mad man, demon possessed. They said he healed people with demonic jazz from Beelzebub.

I rather channel my strenght towards praying for them even more and not bashing them.

I was not being emotional, I believe it was a dishonest prayer and desire for any christian to have and thought of it as covetous of the sinner's wealth/money, which is a violation of God's commandment. But you may be right, the message might have been for someone else. I only shared my experience.

I still strongly disagree with the seed(money) faith principles of the word of faith churches. My post only wrongly expresses it.

You Couldn't have said it better. Sometimes I wonder if people who come here to blast pastors are Christians. I think most of them are not, and the foolish Christians urge them on by liking and sharing their posts. The Church is not perfect and that's because the humans who make up the Church aren't perfect. I absolutely have no idea what benefit people obtain by embarrassing the Church in public. All the wrongs the early Church were involved in were corrected by Paul by writing to them specifically. Not broadcasting it everywhere.

I don't seem to get what the essence of the op's post is. Because he asked for money he's fake? Or because some people were on wheelchair and they didn't walk? I am yet to see where there's a 100% record of healings. All the great healing movements we read about where thousands of people get healed in a single meeting also had thousands of people walk away without healing. They just don't talk about the later.

And the aspect of people falling down is what makes me suspect the OP's intent. If you're a Christian with non orthodox background, you should be used to people falling under the power of the holy ghost. It's nothing special. At a point in y your Christian walk you'll begin to see people falling down when you pray for them. Just you, no pastor, no title. I wonder what you'll do then. Ask God for forgiveness for indulging in some yoga nonsense?

As for his source of anointing, it doesn't matter how he got it. Whether he drank a litre of olive oil or he went to elisha's grave. Since the OP knows how to get the anointing I wonder why he's not flowing in the same capacity. I would have taken him serious if he was someone flowing in the same realm of the spirit.

I only tried to listen to Hinn once, i immediately knew there was something wrong. I later got to hear he was Oyakhilome's mentor and I went "aha".

Usually, most of the whole of their messages are true but this is strategic; so that when they introduce the heresies, you will hardly know except by your Holy Spirit led knowledge of The Word of God!

The Scripture concerning seven women holding unto one man in the end time to say, let us just bear your name, is not about man & women but Christ and the church!

Churches will only desire and bear the name of Christ, use the name of Christ because they know people love the Bearer of the name BUT they, these Churches, would want nothing to do with the Bearer of the name, Christ Jesus Himself.

When you go to these Churches, there is no Christ or His presence there, only hypnotises and slavery!

Whenever your Pastor teaches you anything that feels strange, weigh it with The Holy Spirit and The Word of God and pick God's over all, ALL THE TIME.

To the Op, u know the gospel is not all about words. it's about the holyspirit. (Experience with the Holyspirit and His power). My question to you is:
1. Have you ever heard from the Holyghost like Hinn or as he claimed to have heard?
2. Have you been performing miracles by the power of the Holyghost like Hinn or as he claimes to be performing?
3. If you have some disbelief or doubt about his teachings, have you presented the case to the holyspirit our counsellor?
4.If you did, what did the Counsellor say?
5. Has the Counsellor instructed you to go criticise Benny Hinn in public so that the whole world will discredit him?

We all know in part and do not know it all. Even the bible you quote is human made, that is if you will agree with me that His Word is Spirit written in our hearts (Holyspirit) and not a mere latter that can be misunderstood, misinterpreted or mistranslated.

The Op's thread sure speaks of certain things wrong in some churches but it is not balanced.
The bolded is my position on giving too.Sure some pastors exploit giving but it is scriptural and works.It has worked for me.

@ first bolded, you are not Christ, so you can't know what he would have done. We pray earnestly to be like him. If the bible did not record the story of the prostitute that was brought to Christ, I am sure you may have concluded that Christ would rebuke her. @ second bolded, I dont need to have done what I asked him to. Whenever your Pastor teaches you anything that feels strange, weigh it with The Holy Spirit and The Word of God and pick God's over all, ALL THE TIME.

If you donot have the Holy Spirit of God as well as study your Bible, I pity you with a lot of compassion.
