Do you have your visa already?

If not Are you going for your visa interview with the 2 years program ?

Let me be clear
I applied for a 2yrs certificate program and now am asked to submit a financial statement of $22k and I don't have up to that amount because is self sponsored.

I'm asking if writing SAT can give me some financial assistance considering it a certificate program and not degree though I hardly have time to read because of work but I will try

Thanks

Gurus, my TOEFL result came in some days ago. They did me strong thing on the speaking section angry angry
R28 L28 S23 W27. Total 106.
Do you guys think the speaking score will be a problem when it comes to consideration for funding? Should I rewrite?

OluDare01, please give your take on this as Tennessee Tech is one of the schools I plan to apply to.

What do u mean certificate program... do u mean associate degree in like a Community college. Although 22k is high for Cc college

However except if that school is specifically saying they give out scholarship based on Sat and other criteria if not then SAT might not give u any financial assistance

Although if u are undergrad then a high SAT can give u some funding or full funding in schools that offer it to international studenr

No it wasn't stated but grant/award are given based on performance after semester exam

The tuition fees n books is $5k plus per semester
Living expenses for a yr $15k
Health insurance is 1k plus
Total $22k

These are the info on the website. The school (broward college) sent me financial form that my sponsor will fill n sign with attached financial statement but the exact amount wasn't stated on the mail so i assumed 22k should be amount in the statement of acct

Note: I applied as a transfer student since I already have a bsc but gpa too low for master program and am also changing/switching to another course field

Sevis fee is $200, ds 160 is the fee that you will pay at gtbank to book for your visa interview, it should be 53,000kplus now you can go through this link to read more about it http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/ng-niv-ds160complete.html
which variably implies that the fee one pays at gtb bank (DS 160) is what I can call visa fee right??

Yes , after that you can book for your visa interview online, and make sure you pay for your sevies fee before you go for the interview, ..this is Very important and its hard to pay in nigeria, you need someone in u s to pay for you, you can ask any of the Well known nairalander in u s to help you pay for it...

Good day my people,
I am applying for a masters degree in animal science for next fall and after about 5 months of research I came up with these schools:
1. University of Idaho
2. SDSU
3. NDSU
4. FIU
(note: they all don't require GRE for my program)
Please advice me on the one that offers the best funding, work opportunities, etc for international students.
@Lagosismyhome and the other gurus in the house, tanx for always being there.
Maybe you're looking at the cost of taking the GRE, but look at it this way: The fact that applicants are not required to take any test means truckloads of candidates would be applying. And since those schools must maintain some decent standards, they have to drop soo many people. And that's where money comes in. If you get cash wella, then go on soun. If not, don't use GRE waiver as a yardstick for selecting schools.

You can still 'escape' TOEFL, if you can email the graduate program co-ordinator. Though most schools won't list Nigeria as an English-speaking country, if they see that you're motivated, and have taken a bold step with the GRE, they would almost always waive the TOEFL for you, and treat you as those who took the TOEFL viz-a-viz research and teaching assistantships.

The fee you pay at GTbank is visa fee where a reference number will be generated to book for visa interview, I believe you mistakenly called visa fee to be ds160

You don't need visa fee to fill ds160 but you need ds160 code to and visa fee reference number to book visa interview appointment
