Ojiofor:
What a hypocritical way of reasoning,The Yoruba Ape called Obasanjo was good enough to rule over us and the present fulani certificateless cow rearing vindictive bigot called Kpuhari is also good enough to rule over us but the only Igbo man or woman good enough is late and so therefore no Igbo man is qualified or good enough to rule this country except late Akunyili.
Be very careful!
Yoruba ape? so y'all knows OBJ was an ape and still rigged him in at SE, for your information Olu Falae was our candidate and you people voted against him to spite Yoruba people.
It was shown live on CNN how you people were rigging for OBJ forgetting that OBJ and Olu Falae were both Yoruba men, anyway let Igbo people present a worthy technocrat as a candidate nothing short of this will dogrin grin grin grin or else, as it was in the beginning so shall it be in the end.

And why should we? We all know what's uppermost in their mind and it isn't Nigeria. Just check out how they celebrate every disaster that happens to Nigeria and how they become sad when Nigeria makes some little progress.

Plus the fact that they are incredibly clannish, close-minded and ethnocentric. No. Let them keep pushing for their Bi@fra. They don't need the Nigerian presidency position.

Exactly my thought. Igbos are the only group of people who have voted Hausa, yoruba, Ijaw but some cantankerous dolts still call them 'clannish', asking them 'build bridges'. What bridges exactly?

I know Igbos who have voted Hausa; fulani and yoruba, Does anyone here know any Fulani or yoruba dead or alive who have ever vote an Igbo.

Anyway it's too late. Igbos will take the bull by the horn and decide their future outside the dog-eat-baboon wicked contraption. Shikena!
Don't be silly. How do you know Igbos have voted every tribe. I guess you are the latest INEC chairman. Issssshhh...

Make we hear word abeg.

An attractive and saleable Igbo will have the Yoruba's votes. Don't mind online hatred, its a bye-product of the 2015 face off.

Silly talk. Treacherous Yorubas were only saying that Olu falae was their candidate in 1999, because they could afford that luxury . In 1999, the two front runners were both Yorubas.

In 2003 when OBJ was battling it out with Buhari, and there was no other Yoruba front runner. The chant all over SW was " He is our son", OBJ cleared the polls in SW in 2003.

No one is deceived by your treachery.

Were OBJ or Olu falae technocrats?

Please this thread is for persons of Yoruba origin only. I sincerely request that all Igbos, Hausas and my fellow Niger Deltans stay away from this thread.

I believe the Igbo people are really good people, they have done nothing to deserve the political opposition that are poured on them by Nigerians especially those of the Yoruba origin.

So let me throw this question to the Yorubas in the House. Give us a good reason why you wont vote an Igbo candidate come

Obasanjo was fully supported by the south East and those of Igbo origin in the South South both in 1999 and 2003.

I BELIEVE ONE GOOD TURN DESERVES ANOTHER.........IF THE PHRASE I JUST TYPED DOES NOT EXIST IN YORUBA LANGUAGE. THEN AM SORRY FOR CREATING THIS THREAD.
First and foremost, your post is an insult to us , the Yoruba people. We do not have any thing against the Igbo's.We only respond most of the time in writing when Igbo people try to drag our name in the mud.You people are fond of writing bad things about us, blaming us for your problems when the truth is that we have been the most kind to you people within the Nigerian Federation.

A lot of time when we read the lies Igbo's peddle about us on the internet, we often ask ourselves : what does this people want from us. What haven't we done to show this people that we care about them as fellow Nigerians.

In our region today, Igbo's go about and do as they wish unmolested. The have access to primary and secondary school's education just like the indigenes without discrimination.

We give them employment in our businesses and are treated equally like their fellow Yoruba employees. I have never in my life heard an Igbo complain of unfair treatment when it comes to promotion exercise in a Yoruba company. Never!

Whenever a Yoruba state build housing estate, they allow people from other ethnic group to participate in owning some of them even though it is not enough to go round for the indigenes.

Also, when we Yoruba people gather together and an Igboman enters into our midst, we quickly suspend our Yoruba language to speaking English so that he will not feel like a stranger amongst us.

During the civil war, we hid so many Igbo's who could not go back to the East in our farms and villages to protect them from harm. We also managed their properties on their behalf and return same to them with the full rents realised on them.

At independence, Awolowo the Yoruba leader agreed to let Azikiwe to become the Prime Minister, though the latter betrayed the first to go and team up with Northerners who later relegated him to the background.

The lists of our acts of kindness to the Igbo's is endless, yet they will not stop saying and writing malicious things about us.

Please tell me why you should vote for a tribe that is always telling you by their behaviour towards you why you should vote for their candidate in election. It is not as if we cannot vote for an Igbo man in election, but you have to maintain good relations with other people.

Yoruba people are very forgiving , are easily entreated and forget the past easily. This could be seen in the way we welcome back Igbo people after the Civil war. This was despite what they did in bombing pen cinema and other places in Lagos killing many of our people in the process, not to talk of rose of us who lost fathers, uncles and brothers on the war front as well as the fact that they actually launched an invasion against our region.

While we are always making conscious efforts to forget the past, one Igbo person will go on the internet and start writing " Yoruba this or Yoruba that". Check the Internet, you will find out that most of what you will see on what Yoruba people posted that related to the Igbo's are attempts by Yoruba people to defend themselves from Igbo's onslaught on the internet.

However, it us not too late to build bridges and mend fences.

Igbo's should know that there are certain previledges you can only enjoy as an indigene of a place. The people of any region will always protect their economic and political interest above that of non- indigenes. You cannot go to a place and destroy their economy with your own activities without eliciting reaction from the indigenes. Yoruba people lost over40,000 industries in the 80s and 90s partly due to massive importation by the Igbo's. We will not allow that to happen again.

Igbo should learn to stop playing victims mentality an learn to go develop the southeast and live there. This way they will stop having the mentality if second hand citizen or victim mentality.

Finally, your region or state don't have to produce the president for you to feel like a full citizen. Make the best of Nigeria as it is now and you will be happy.

See them frustrated hypocrites and propagandists doing what they know how to do best...

How ridiculous for a Yoruba man who is barely surviving come online to grandstand carelessly and senselessly of accommodating or feeding Igbos!

It so pathetic the shameless manner you greedy hypocrites convulse at the mere thought of Biaf... or NK, throwing smelly spits in every direction with reckless abandon.

FYI, Igbos are not your mates and don't need Yorubas for anything. Igbos are comfortable having a separate existence from Yorubas.

Igbos don't need the presidency or political posts to survive unlike you greedy Yorubas and your Hausa-Fulani masters. Take your miseries to OduaArewanistan republic where your fellow tribalists cum murderous parasites are found.

Igbos have not forgotten how greedy and wicked Yorubas often destroy Igbo means of livelihoods. Over the decades in the South-West, the Yorubas have systematically burnt Igbo shops and frustrated many Igbos in their businesses. Many times Yorubas hide under the cover of darkness to set ablaze Igbo business premises as a guise to hijacking the markets from Igbos.

Igbos have not forgotten the unlimited extortion and harassment of genuine businesses by official area boys and street urchins, illegal/multiple taxing of business owners, in markets where Igbos operate. Tejuoso, Alaba International, Ladipo, Oshodi electrical & electronic market and Computer Village are typical examples where such evils occur/occurred.

Igbos have not forgotten how the treacherous Yorubas colluded with their Northern masters to commit genocide on Igbos and Easterners for daring to have a separate existence from greedy, treasury looters cum murderous parasites.

During the counter-coup of 1966 the Northern soldiers killed Adekunle Fajuyi and the news was hid to not make the Yorubas suspicious of Hausa-Fulanis agenda.
And what did your cowardly Yorubas do about the murder of Fajuyi? Absolutely nothing, except to look for the Igbo man to accuse!

Bloodthirsty Yorubas and their partners in crime positioned themselves in airports and railway stations hounding and killing off innocent Eastern passengers.

The bile-filled hatred as bequeathed to you by your wicked forbears has indeed beclouded your sense of reasoning as to resort to outright lies since the Yorubas have merely survived by making a living out of lies, falsehood, noise-making, propaganda, abuse and slurs.

In 1967-70, Yorubas took up arms against Biafrans when they had no just cause to do so.

After the civil war Yorubas connived and robbed Easterners of their hard earned money in banks and gave £20 to only those who could prove they had bank accounts.

Asaba Oct 7, 1967 Massacre by Murtala,  Awolowo and their Cohorts:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEaX9lVVrCM

In 1972 Gowon with the support of Awolowo enacted and enforced the Indigenization decree which led to the collapse of the Nigerian economy.
To add insult to the festering injury Olusegun Obasanjo promulgated the Land Use Decree (now Land Use Act) in 29th of March, 1978.

By the provision of the Land Use Decree of 1978, the inhabitants of the oil producing communities were turned into squatters in their own ancestral homes, as land where oil is explored, produced, transported and stored were decreed to belong to the state long after political independence in 1960. The existence and application of the Land Use Act of 1978 contributed to the present state of neglect, under-development and the insecurity of the region.

Hausa-Fulanis have given prominent Yoruba men an overdose of humiliation that will last them a life time despite using them as slaves to prosecute the 1967-70 civil war against Igbos. But Yorubas have only but maintained a deafening silence and would rather point accusing fingers on Igbos who have been far from political power for close to 50 years.

Despite the untold murder and humiliation of prominent Yorubas, how many Yoruba politicians or soldiers have ever attempted to quench a prominent man from Hausa-Fulanis or the North?

http://www.nigerianbulletin.com/threads/yorubas-are-the-problem-with-nigeria-by-sanusi-lamido-sanusi-elombah-com.111348/

The gross injustice and wickedness by the Yorubas and their Northern masters against the Igbo Nation have not deterred the Igbos from doing excellently and even competing on the world stage. The Igbo Nation remains unstoppable.

THE BEST INDUSTRIAL CLUSTER IN NIGERIA
"Nnewi people have already blaze the trail in the area of building the nation's economy through individual efforts, I have gone round to see the factories in the town and I can say with all sense of responsibilities that this is the best industrial cluster in Nigeria. People from other areas should come to Nnewi to learn how the industrialists here are doing it."

BLOCKED: Almost no yorubas left on my FB page. I will not SUBSCRIBE to tribalism against the Igbos and #Biafra . We killed THEM and boasted about it. Gen Obasanjo, Col Rotimi, Gen Ibrahim Taiwo etc etc. Oluwole Rotimi was fired by Yaradua as NG Ambassador to USA for his Biafra comment to Ojo Maduweke NG Ambassador to Canada, OBJ still boasting "We will do to Boko Haram what we did to Biafra-OBJ 2015", Ibrahim Taiwo assassinated same day as Gen Murtala Muhammed on a Friday the 13th an evil day in 1976. I no longer spend the N20 note in Nigeria. These were not heroes. Ojukwu was the real hero we were told to hate. It took years for me to know that. My father was the only Yoruba leader at his funeral. Those yoruba youth who say they saw Tinubu there were hallucinating. Both Taiwo and MM ordered Nigerian Army into Asaba and killed 700 innocent civilan men, raped their wives, daughters and ruined the town. Google Asaba massacres on Wikipedia. U are on your internet. We as Yoruba youth were brainwashed into seeing them as HEROES. Today's youth must be told the truth. History is no longer in schools. It must be told. If you were not born 1967-70 and watched 3 years of the war on WNTV now NTA, u need to STFU. Those begging me on Twitter will be ignored. To my Biafrans on social media, ABSOLUTELY no violence or advocating violence on #socialmedia . Do not play into the hands of King Buhari, Father Mbaka Mfaker and the DSS.

"For Lagos State, more than 70% of the manufacturing concerns and major industries in the State are owned by the Igbos. If the Igbos were to stop paying tax in Lagos State, the IGR of Lagos State will reduce by over 60%. In contrast, Sir, go to the South East and look at the manufacturing concerns in Onitsha, Aba and Nnewi. Please don't forget those were areas ravaged by civil war a mere forty something years ago. The Igbos have certainly made tremendous progress but the Yoruba nation has regressed. They are all ingrates,if it were up to me,since some unrepentant Yorubas are not interested in voting an Igbo because of their political interest, instead of voting the treacherous Yoruba,it's either we all keep giving the power to north or we don't vote at all.
Dont worry, d northern partty will endorse yorubas above igbo...likewise d SS

if we don't get d president, we shall have d VP

una biafrans problem is inferiority complex at his peak...since you have bn giving ur votes to the north...did yorubas ever complain?

Please this thread is for persons of Yoruba origin only. I sincerely request that all Igbos, Hausas and my fellow Niger Deltans stay away from this thread.

I believe the Igbo people are really good people, they have done nothing to deserve the political opposition that are poured on them by Nigerians especially those of the Yoruba origin.

So let me throw this question to the Yorubas in the House. Give us a good reason why you wont vote an Igbo candidate come 2019.
Before starting a thread like this, you should have tried to find out if producing the president of Nigeria is a pressing need for us Igbos. Most Igbos no longer care about the presidency, other things have overtaken that.

As an Igbo man, I'm actually very happy that no Igbo son has been executive president of Nigeria besides the six months stint of Ironsi. I want that when people look back on the history of Nigeria, the ethnic groups who have held the presidency the most will be the ones who take the glory for being the ones who destroyed Nigeria. President of a failed country like Nigeria? I wouldn't wish that position on my worst enemy, let alone my fellow Igbo.

Ibo is Yoruba slave. So you are supposed to supportyour master's candidates naturally. Supporting Obasanjo is not a favor for us, but a duty for you.

...beside, yanmiris should stop lamenting.

The Yorubas and Igbos are the problem with Nigeria. The day the two tribes sit and agree on a political direction, that will put the Northern elements in its rightful place. Only then will this country will move forward.

The North will always betray the South, irrespective of tribe.

am a confirmed yoruba man and i am bold enough to tell people of nigeria that i love people from the eastern part of the and have greater respect for them. though i love every part of this country but i prefer igbo to hausa cos of the hausas act of violence. i prefer supporting igbo rather than an hausa man. GOD bless nigeria.

Treachery? me and una get written and oral agreement to vote a particular candidate? grin grin grin grin grin sometimes i wonder if you people actually make use of your thinking faculties.
Anyway google is your friend, check how Obj was disgraced in 1999 election in Yoruba land, he couldn't even win his own ward at Owu.
In 2003 people just take it slow because of the understanding that he go still win anyway, after all pdp's rigging gizmo is still available in SE.
No be the same scenario played itself out in the last election? won fe e nilu on darin, wa da jo ni.
