Firstly you have to tackle your employment situation. Guess you're not employed? If that is the case, with the present situation in nigeria, it's obvious that to get a job it's not quite easy, but to help you, just look around your area and take up a job even if it is unpaid let the employer know that you're not after money, but u don't just want to sit back doing nothing. So many companies still do accept that. Then as regard your purpose of visit, guy na one contains alot Oooo. Because that 'Purpose of visit' alone so many reasons are linked to it which only your gcms note will say precisely where the V.O is coming from and what s/he wants. So my advice is that you should check the correlation between your proposed study and your undergraduate course well.
That's just my 2cent.

Its an Undergrad application, I was offered Computer Science admission at UPEI, but I have a diploma in Architecture (2012-2014) which wasn't included in the application, instead I used the "one-year certificate in computer engineering" which I did Immediately after secondary school dated 2010/2011. I used my uncle's company soa and explained in the LOE that I've been working with my uncle since I finished the computer engineering course in 2011, didn't provide any employment letter though coz I thought i don't really that since he's my uncle and sponsor.

the VO didn't concur with your intended program in respect to your previous degree and employment history.order ur GCMS FILE to know more.

If you are been refused, the zeal to reapply even tomorrow is there, but you need to calm yourself down,request for GCMS file,ease off,hangout,Follow up the thread again while awaiting your gcms file before reapplying again.Never you rush to reapply.I am gradually taking my time too

Attaching landed assets is also a boost/important step since you are working and is part of home tie. Remember na 2nd time application be this so there is no need for any delay reason. Let him add all that he believe will help. Even paying tuition fees.

the major reason y visas are being denied despite enough fundings is because of the followings:

1) our employment history
2)personal account
3) personal assets

the VO feels that if u are being sponsord and u dont meet d criterias mentioined above,u are likely not going to return home after graduation...our economic situation has worsen this case.they feel that our sponsors are trying to help u abscond.

Also,it seems they have found out that most nigerian postgraduates dont return home after graduation.even though d masters graduates dont return,they are likely to be pardoned compared to postgraduates.

Furthermore,most of us that experienced visa denial due to purpose of travelling came as a result of differences in previous course and intended course of study or diffrences btw our course of study and our current work....imagine a mechanical engineering graduate going to study an BUSINESS course,while his work experience isnt related to business

I have not seen someone given Visa (Student) without medicals. If it is Open Work Permit, then it is possible to get Visa without medicals.

since your application is for next fall2017, January will be ok..i think the embassy would have lesser applications to attend to within January/February for study permit.you may be lucky too that Naira may have gained value by then.you need not to write a separate letter to address the previous refusal concern. your documents have made everything in place

Bros, please where is your Faith, Hard-work and Determination? You need to do your best possible in presenting a solid application and not worry about the negative outcome.

Besides there is a guy that got 'visa' with his PGC/PGD at University of Fraser Valley (which is similar to your case) few months ago, so no worries.

I applied for a Canadian study visa on 13th of July and I was asked to do medicals on 15th of August ams I have not gotten a response since then. I tracked the passport and the status it is showing is that the processed passport has been dispatched from the Accra office to the Canadian Visa Center on 29th of August 2016.
Please should I be worried?

Well, as regard your admission to carleton, you will have to send the official transcript to them before they can treat your admission file and possibly give you admission. Dunno if you haven't checked your student dashboard, but it's stated there that you have to send official copy of your school academic transcript to them. As for dalhousie university, I think they also do request for official or notarized copies of transcripts and supporting docs. As regard your visa app to resume for January next year, I will tell you categorically that you should forget about resuming for January admission(am not trying to discourage you brother and please don't see me as a pessimist)because analysing critically now, Carleton will need the official copies of your transcripts before you can be offered admission (if merited) and if carleton has not mail you (ad a reminder) requesting for the official copies of your academic transcript, it means your file is yet to be attended to. And with that, you're still likely to wait for more weeks before you can get admission decision and considering the time you're gonna spend in getting your transcript, mailing it to them and before they receive it, it's sure gonna take couple of weeks. The visa app processing time now is approximately 16 weeks which even if you get admission letter today, and you're so fast enough to gather all necessary documents by this weekend and ready for submission on probably Monday or tuesday, it will take the grace of GOD for you to get visa by December ending.

Hello Gurus in the house, I don't knw what is happening to my application. I applied on 17th of June with upfront medical. I got a response from them on the 21st of Sept that "your processed passport has been dispatched on the 21st Sept. from Vac Accra to Lagos" while waiting for Vsf Lekki to get back to me for my passport pick up I got another message with the same content that"your PP has been dispatched on the 26th Sept..... I don't understand this changes in the date and up till now I have not heard anything from Vsf Lekki,I called dem no response. Can I go there to pick my passport without inviting me to come? I need my passport for a very important thing. Thanks.
