Enough of this Asiwere Tinubu's Epistles jare....

Meanwhile,

[b] I don't know why yorubas will never learn, it beats me how they go about beating their chests shouting 'Sophistication' while everything is pointing to the contrary.
Benjamin Adekunle took his hatred for Igbos to another level during the civil war when he went about shooting women and children at the outskirts of Biafra while the hausa/fulani were watching. After using him, they disgraced him out of the army without any benefits such that he was looking for small contracts to feed himself before he died. At some point, his son was begging for donations to be made to take him to just Ghana for treatment. We are not even talking of taking him to the USA, Germany or UK oo, just to ordinary Ghana that we can trek into he could not afford it.
Obafemi Awolowo was also used by the hausa/fulani to wage the war against Igbos were he suggested that Biafran children by starved which lead to the death of so many. Awolowo was hoping that the hausa/fulani would compensate him by supporting him to become president but it only turned out he had been used and dumped. The northerners threw all their support behind their son Shagari and Awolowo was never president. As though this was not enough, Babangida was about to arrest Awolowo(which would have been the second time the northerners would be arresting him if it had happened) and to avoid this disgrace, Awolowo had to commit suicide by drinking poison(I think Ratak).
Abiola the yoruba aere onakankanfo thought that he had the north all behind him only for them to cancel his electoral victory and throw him in prison. The hausa/fulani still went ahead to serve him a very special tea which he drank and died. They went a step further by dispatching his wife Kudirat to join him in eternity.
This brings us down to Bola Ahmed Tinubu aka BAT- jagajaga borgu. Like FFK said, Buhari is the spirit clearly behind Tinubu's woes. The hausa/fulani are out to destroy Tinubu and reduce him to one of those agberos running around Lagos shouting 'owomida' at the top of their voices. Again, another yoruba leader has been used and is being dumped.
I keep wondering why yorubas continue to mistake treachery for sophistication and cowardice for wisdom.

Is stealing, lying, breaking community/societal rules and dictates subjective to the society? Is broad daylight embezzlement/financial misappropriation the order of the day and an acceptable activity in any society regardless of its cultures?

So, when serial killers murder other people, it is acceptable because they feel it is right? So, when people are deprived of their fair wages, it is normal -and I don't mean in the "what can we do" way. I mean in the "that's okay, it's acceptable" way?

Point to one society where this applies.

Since morals are relative, it means that if I deprive you of fair wages after you've done a good job, because feel I'm right, that would be acceptable? If I come into your home and rape your wife/your sister in front of you because I can and have no compunctions about it, you would talk about moral relativity and try to understand my perspective?

If I come to your place of business, hire your services or pick up a few items and walk away because I feel I'm justified, that's alright? Where in the world is this common practice? Please educate me.

When many people talk about morally relative practices, their arguments and examples typically come from a sexual standpoint -please don't bring this up as I'm familiar with sexual practices in parts of Polynesia. It's not relevant to this discourse (we're not talking about sexual defilement/affairs and its relative acceptance or the lack of it in some societies).

I maintain that there are universal principles of fairness, justice, and equity; all of which are tied to morality. These are non-debatable. So, when someone brings up the argument of morally abominable acts not being wrong, I just call bullshyte grin.

Stealing is against the law, so is rape, has nothing to do with morals. You need to understand the difference between morality and legality.

- Is it fair/morally right that Senators earn millions while the minimum wage is 18k?
- Is the HND/Bsc discrimination fair or morally right
- Is it fair/morally right/ justice that the Niger Delta suffers all the consequence of Oil exploration alone but share the money with the whole country?
- Are tax laws fair the poor?
- Is it fair that a poor man would suffer more than a rich man for the same crime because the rich man can afford the best of lawyers while the poor man can't?

We shall see. Time will tell. Even brave men tread with caution. He didn't. This is more than meets the eye. The men doing dis will end up being disposable tools in the hands of Northerners. The entire Southern Nigeria hardly learn from historic happenings. Fajuiyi.. Dealt by the North. Awolowo... Dealt by the North. Abiola... Dealt by the North. Dele Giwa... Dealt by the North. Yet no lessons. If truly the North wants to deal with Tinubu. They will incapacitate him completely that he will stand no chance of return/revenge. That is the Machiavellian principle. Best practiced by the north.

Re: The Asiwaju They Don’t Know By Tayo Ayinde by markpenk: 4:21pm On Oct 02, 2016
You should understand the difference. Here's websters definition of morality -one of them anyway: conformity to ideals of right human conduct.

Here's another definition: principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behavior.

And another: a particular system of values and principles of conduct, especially one held by a specified person or society.

In fact, visit this link for a note exhaustive discourse on the subject: http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/morality-definition/

Based on those definitions, are we talking legality or morals? Aren't they interwoven in this instance? To a large extent, one cannotnbe mutually exclusive of the other.

So if someone tells me that a morally abominable action isn't wrong, it tells me they don't know what they're saying. Now, if you had said "one can get away with a morally abominable action", I'd have agreed with you.

But to say, morality is relative? Ha! That's not a tenable argument.

See as dem dey tightening matter for jagaban..all this pr stunts be the real matter for Apc..
Hause fulani..no dey share power with person..even baba owu no gree share with Atiku..

Presidency has decided..tinubu should que in..no questions.

Or is he different from other stakeholders that worked with him to get buhari there..was it solely his effort that got bubu president..
Obj gan no gree say na only am..he understands that some other persons where instrumental.

Why hype tinubu where he no belong..

Abi those men, will they keep being boy boy to him..abi dem no wan grow..they are entitled to any political aspiration..all they owe tinubu is respect and they ve don and shown that..now they want to aspire..una dey call dem betrayals..which nonsense be that..even slave the get freedom.
This matter self..

Say try tinubu at your peril..wetin e don do as dem don dey try am..everything no be mouth.
No hausa man don even raise voice on wetin the happen..even his man lawal self silence die.
Atiku dey rub am with style after e don bleep am on senate matters.

Don't understand this noise from the west..others are doing matters codedly una dey run mouth..
No be edo election just go..wetin be his input..abi oshomole and oyegun no tidy well?

Ome eh..tinubu at best na local champion ..
And they don position am..and if any media outlet or group of persons dare the north on 2019 on what they're capable of or au " mighty tinubu is" I can bet am say they go position him wey be say within a year all his money and name no go get trace for nigeria..

Na nigeria we dey o..no be yourba land.
Obasanjo go jail for this country..buhari self enter..Bode George, yaraadua, even him fellow governors. plenty men don go..some even die for there.

Respect jagaban..but your boys too talk carelessly..
Trash,Buhari had contested three times and lost,i could recalled in 2011,he came to Tinubu for support at the eve of election, but he told him it was too late (because he tactically supported GEJ),he told him that the better thing to do is to start strategising after the election and they started after the election. Don't forget that Buhari lost his state to GEJ in 2011,where were El rufai, maman Daura and others when Tinubu carryout the media campagn and ensure he emerged winner at the primary election at the expense of the likes of Atiku and Kankaso who have the financial advantage to emerge winner at the primary. Are u talking of Oyegun who always lost his polling unit,if not becos of Oshiomole and if what the election Observers said was something to go by,the election was rigged.

You know why the west keep making same mistake..then coming down to opposition,is because of this kinda of analysis.
You guys hardly read the political tone of nigeria, yet some of you claim sophistication..and you keep playing opposition..(now focus is on west)..i ve read so many comment on this issue and have observed that sooner..west will go back to opposition.
Now you said buhari could not win election for three times he contested..and on the fouth time..tinubu and the west helped him..

Sounds funny..
Let me educate you will understand..
Buhari is not and never a saleable candidates in any north..he is not part of the cabals that run nigeria..he is seen as an extremists and could turn the fotunes of the pre 99 retired generals, who where looking for a trusted allied to protect their interest.

Buhari could never fill that role...because he was not to be trusted. his antecedents with the military and northern oligarchy is well known,as a governor and a military head od state..not even Britain did trust him.
So they practically kept him out of power and out of circle..he was not involve..his only involvement was the benefits as a former leader.

2011..he went to negotiate with tinubu after the. Easterners rejected his offers..tinubu knew the politics of then and understand that buhari against Gej was not saleable cos ofthe high sentiments on Gej..the powers that be were with Gej based on agreement to rule for 4years..tinubu would have made a political blunder..he tactically withdrew and support gej.

2014..jonathan broke the agreement and was becoming powerful.
He yank off the agreement and front some ofthe men that. Made him in 2011. He wanted to build his own political base of young and intelligent cabal that will reposition nigeria..the cabal fought back..
Lots of betrayals and realignment.
Jonathan was strong and sure of defeating any candidates..they party offered him their ticket against its will.

2014..buhari popularity has increase from the almajiris and low class to the elites and university students..
Their was no choice..atiku was not an option and cwould divide the northern votes, likewise kwankwaso lamido saraki or any other person from the north..and they needed this power.
So everybody que..tinubu saw his chance of being a v.p..he qued too.
What the north neeede was a 25 pecent vote from some number of state..kapish..
Politics played out and the rest is history.

Now if not for oneness and unity of the north..dont you think that atiku in his usual self would have join another party..likewise other aspirants..or tinubu richer or wealthier than him/them?

My friend..presently the west has use its loud mouth to implicate jagaban whose intention has been misinterpreted by the large section of hausa/fulani..you have. To visit the north to understand..

The north has gotten power..and it's much easier for them to retain it..just keep playing between south..and minorities in the north that's all.

Tinubu is not needed again..he miscalculated. And by the time he understand it's late..

Let. Me enlighten you more..
Oyo,osun,lagos,ogun,calabar,.Edo,.this state can presently raise a 25/ votes conveniently for buhari/apc..without tinubu..
So why is he needed again..
Nigeria politics my friend is not acn local politics..this the big stage.

If you are a politician, this is my advice: Be like
Tinubu, the Jagaban.

1. Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN was Tinubu's
Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
He is today, Nigeria's Vice President.
2. Rauf Aregbesola was Tinubu's Commissioner
for Works. Today he is serving his second tenure
as Governor of Osun State.
3. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN was Tinubu's
Chief of Staff and successor in office. He is today
Nigeria's Minister of Power, Works and
Housing.
4. Alhaji Lai Mohammed was Tinubu's
first Chief of Staff. He is today, Nigeria's Minister
of Information.
5. Babatunde Fowler was appointed by Tinubu as
Chairman of the Lagos State Internal Revenue
Service. Today, he is the Executive Chairman of
the Federal Inland Revenue Service.
At the National Assembly, there are countless
"Tinubu boys" who have occupied and are still
occupying seats till today. Since 1999, the Tinubu
camp has produced almost 98% of the members
of the National Assembly from Lagos State.
Forget politics, this man is a political
enigma.Rewind to 1999, I am sure most of us
have forgotten the names of the People who were
elected Governors then. Some of them have gone
out of circulation. Some are gasping for breath
politically. Indeed, most of them are no longer
relevant today.Who still remembers Mbadinuju of
Anambra State, Jolly Nyame of Taraba,
Mohammed Lawal of Kwara, Segun Osoba of
Ogun, Attahiru Bafarawa of Sokoto, Achike
Udenwa of Imo, Victor Attah of Akwa Ibom, Orji
Uzor Kalu of Abia? That one has lost two
consecutive senatorial elections.But Tinubu has
not only managed to remain extremely relevant,
he has continued to control Lagos politics 100%.
Not only that, he manages to carry his boys
along and today they occupy critical positions in
our national life.
Take it or leave it, Tinubu is today, Nigeria's
most powerful politician. It didn't just happen by
chance. He worked very hard for it. Very very
hard. The hallmark of a true leader is not just the
ability to rule well but also the ability to nurture
and groom his associates.The JAGABAN!!!

you are right he is an enigma, his type is rare but his support for buhari is almost obliterating everything ,it was a miscalculation more like dribbling oneself

THE HAUSA ARE ALWAYS LOYAL TO THEM SELF ALONE, THE EARLIER THE YORUBA'S LEARN THE BETTER. THE HAUSA'S ARE LIKE A BONE STUCK IN THE NECK OF YORUBA'S THEY CAN'T COUGH THEM OUT OR SWALLOW IT, YET THEY GO AROUND CLAIMING THEY LOVE WHAT THEY HAVE STUCK IN THEIR NECK.

Please did any body watch Peter Obi's speech at the platform? it is one of the most eye opening talks about government in recent times, the truth is we cannot succeed except we go beyond tribal loyalty and start looking at the root of the problem, it is either through true Federalism or we simply cut down on government spending.

I am sorry but your argument does not hold water, there is a saying "he who know better, does better" certain people should by now know that we are what we repeatedly do, therefore cowardice and the thought of sophistication in wisdom is not an act, but rather a habit that has to be changed for the common good.

...by next June/july..nigeria would be out of recession, oil price will normalise and if bubu suceed in negotiating with the militants...more funds will be made ready for his developmental ideas.
Try jail one or two politcians, release. One or two persons..
Commission one or two projects. Reduce the cost of living.
Bro nigerian will automatically que in. against any other politician.
We drive on sentiments..old sins will be forgiven..bubu will be seen as the messiah again andthe north will que once more.
The young turks will be financed to sell his candidates to the south..which will require little or no effort in the west..bit difficult in. The east..and if gotten a good deal. With the..then much easier.

You see why is not needed again..he should focs on lagos...the feds will rig lagos..to the extend that will surprise jagaban himself..
