He was not.Kaine only managed to remain calm and sound sane unlike his boss.On the policies he was not so good at getting them across without entirely making a misstatement that contradicts the Trump campaign positions.Which is why he largely attacked the administration and tried to tie every event to Hillary's record even when she's out of office.

You don't get to declare yourself Vice President until the nation decides.You earn their votes and not assume it's your right.Time and again I've heard Hillary say again and again "If I'm fortunate to be President".

Both Pence and Trump are arrogant and egotistical individuals.
