If it had been the woman who admitted to a man that she has no womb, the man will most likely call it quits immediately however this is where you need to evaluate how much you love him.
Of course, you can pray but if it comes down to adopting a child since you can't have your own, will you be comfortable?
You should also consider his emotions before you make your decisions like if you decide to call it off for example, hope he won't harm himself?

How did he get to know that he has low sperm count before marriage ? Why would I want to test my sperm as a single man ... Low sperm count can be treated though

Have you gone with him to see his doctor to explain the facts? Is there anything like healthier living/diet/excercise/weight loss & conducive under wear to improve sperm count? Aside LSC is there also significant poor motility (forward movement), morphological defects (poor shape/form) of sperm? And the probability of siring a child, alternatives like extracting his sperm for assisted reproduction (IUI, IVF, ICSI), the costs involved, etc. If not, please do so. Only then can you know how things stand.

Are you both open to donor sperm if all else fail?

Are you open to adopting a child or even children?

By the time you have explored all these things, you might discover that all is not actually that bad.

Ermmm........also be aware that sometimes (though rarely), it can all be a hoax. Either to test your love/faith or to bail out of the relationship. So be double careful. cool

My advice:
1. Ask him to stop taking sugar from now onwards including snacks, mineral drinks such as fanta, coke, sect. I'm fact let him drink ONLY WATER for the next 6 months. For how to drink the water, read up hydrotherapy (water therapy online) for proper administration.

2. Let him start eating nuts: pea nuts, walnuts, cashew nuts, coconuts, DAILY for the next 6 months. Quantity? He may finish a bottle of peanuts sold in the supermarkets in THREE DAYS....Just a suggestion. But as much as possible, let nuts become his friends. Let him snack on the copiously.

3. Let him start FRUITS and VEGETABLES juicing. Juices and/or smoothies to include but not limited to bananas, avocado pears, mangoes(when in season), soursop, and all other available fruits and veges. ALWAYS INCLUDE GINGER and CAYENNE PEPPER in all your juices/smoothies It is very easy to find fruits and vegetables. Go to any fruit garden. If in PORTHARCOURT, you can ask for the fruits garden and you will be amazed at the varieties of fruits to choose from. Kindly follow a juicing plan (Google fertility juice regimen) to see which to adopt. Remember that some of the regimens are westernised. Simply look for similar fruits herein Nigeria to suffice.

I want us all to believe here that God can do everything BUT NOT everything prayer will do for you meaning wisdom is required

The first step to take is to seek urgent medical attention to know your fiancee chance of fathering a child whether there is HOPE or it is what they can boost his count for him

Make sure you attend the clinic together if you truly love him as you claimed for gynecologist to test both of you if their will be a way out for both of you

After seeing doctor whether there is HOPE for you or NOT remember that the decision you took together will tell on you tomorrow because NO Nairalanders will face the test of time for you

Low sperm count just like malaria is no longer such a bad news.

It simply means, his concentration are low and there are range of remedies from natural to medical.

Google will return lots of hits, then he can continually do test to evaluate achievement milestones. Some can also be caused by bacteria infection, hence testing for bacteria and sticking to any aftermath prescribed treatment is very important.

A friend had the same issue and tried everything to solve the problem with no success and have essentially given up....a doctor suggests testing for bacteria infection and it was a hit! He was prescribed some antibiotics and he is now an expectant daddy.

My papa will not like this comment o. You sound like it's a seed matter. Activate your faith, pray for others, lost souls, sowing of seed shouldn't be paramount. You can pay your tithe and offering for the tithes God will rebuke the devourer of his health and restore him back because He said IN His word, in the beginning it was not so. Just engage actively in promoting God's Kingdom and watch God settle your case. And yes, that one believes in God doesn't mean one won't go for treatment, while treating it pray over every medication and God will show Himself mightily.

My dear if you love him go ahead. Low sperm count is not really a challenge in recent times. The truth is that there are so many fertility procedures you can adopt if you have the fund though some are not 100%. My advice is that you consult fertility professionals (O&Gs) who are in a better position to help.
