lols. cheesy.
the points u need are for DIBP for migration. u getting a positive assessment from EA gives you 15 points, that means u v 45 more points to get to mk up for the 60 points. the 45 points cn be gotten from ur age, ur english test, and work experience.
you need to check the point breakdown ,am sure if u check on older posts u wld see the points breakdown

Hello Oga bellong, Oknee and other wonderful patriarchs in the house.

I have been a silent and consistent follower of this thread.
However, I'm presently at a crossroad! I need to pay my assessment fee (800AUD) but has been difficult AND I don't have a dorm account.
Please, is there anyone in Australia that can be of help. What other options do I have besides hurriedly opening a dorm account?
Thanks

You need to prove your language proficiency for two reasons:

1. To get assessed by EA -all they need is IELTS (minimum of 6 per band) or TOEFL
2. To submit your EOI with DIPB and gather points for PR purpose (refer to page 1 please!!)-your options here vary;IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, etc

You may decide to use one IELTS result for 1 and 2. OR

Use IELTS for EA assessment and PTE for EOI with DIPB (cos PTE is supposedly easier to pass and thus boost your points)

Again... Please read this thread from back to back and all your questions have been answered over and again

Thanks for this.....is inciteful now.

Hello everyone,

As USD is very scarce and getting PTA from banks is currently a long thing cos of scarcity, is it possible to buy pounds instead and change it to Australian Dollars at Australian airport probably from the Travelex stand or Australian fx dealers?

Yes you can... Don't change with travelex, better you change with forex dealers when you arrive. Travelex will charge you for transaction fee in addition to low rate they will give you.

Question for the Engineers.. I have read the whole MSA user guide from EA - it is possible I missed it - but I did not see anything about the Chronology of the CDR as a whole pertaining to each CER.... So I want to ask, Is there a specific chronology? do we write from most recent to the oldest, or from oldest to most recent;;;

for example if I have 3 episodes from 2012, 2013, 2014

is there a specific rule that says maybe CER 1 MUST BE 2012, CER 2 = 2013, CER 3 = 2014

OR , CER 1 = 2014, CER 2 = 2013, CER 3 = 2012

If there is no such rule,, what arrangement is recommended? Abi it doesnt matter? Thanks

(i've finished writing two... i'm on the last one, na why I dey ask)
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bellong: 5:08am On Oct 06, 2016
^^^^^ I am not an engineer but it makes better sense starting from most recent, just like a CV.

Show what you are doing currently and then progress to where you were coming from.

I may be wrong.

It doesn't matter bro...There's no such rule. But like oga bellong adviced, you could start with the most recent.

Cheers!

Note that you won't be uploading a single document containing all the CERs. On EA's website you will upload them individually and chronological ordering won't even come up for you to consider. Unless you are saying which should be uploaded first which I think is irrelevant.

Don't worry about the arrangement bro, you won't submit them together. Each Career Episode will be submitted separately. It is advised you save in PDF format too.

Please we need all the gurus to be available here at all times, don't make them have divided attentions.
My view though.

I agree.. This thread has history, someone new to the process can always go back to read questions that have been asked and answered. A whatsapp group doesnt have that.. the gurus go end up answering the same set of questions over and over and over with each new person that is added.

This thread remains the best forum in my opinion

How much did you finally pay for the assessment in Naira? Did you pay with your bank or someone helped you from AUS? Congratz in advance.
