If you interviewed in Abuja I don't think you need bother with health insurance, they don't care.
Chiznonso:

How about this health insurance thing? I had bought one thinking I would travel in August though it will expire November 14th, do U think it will be accepted by the embassy?

Qabt:
the highest amount varies with bank, so the best thing to do is to visit your bank and make enquiries as some banks will tell you they only receive but don't send... But in some banks that do send the maximum you can do is 330,000(1000usd) naira equivalent quarterly ( i.e once in 3 months)... But u can ask ur friends to do it for u, so that it will take lesser period of time to transfer your cash
Do you have an idea of what the bank exchange naira/dollars for western union transactions?

I arrived in Munich two days ago and it has been a wonderful experience right from departure in Nigeria till date.

- No embarrassment of any kind so far

- Was the only black on-board while connecting Munich from Abu Dhabi. Most Africans I have seen (though few) smile when you meet and some natives have been so friendly.

- Cost of accommodation here is expensive (heard there are very few&cheap student dorms within the city but hardly available) and difficult to get but God dey.

-Transportation system is superb. My best so far is U-bahn.

- Time runs fast in Germany (my personal observation).

... and many more

In all, thanks to every member of this thread. I pray all prospective students will enjoy immense favour.

P.S: This is not my last post here. As much as I can, I will try to help others here. Danke schoen!

Hi everyone
1. What's the chance of being rejected after u provide all the documents including blocked account fundind certificate? I presented every document requested but my stress level at the roof top.

2. My school registration ends on the 13th of this month. I realized that some people were able to register from Nigeria. Pls guide me on how to go about that.

I am not a Nigerian but after reading this forum for weeks I realized that it's very helpful. I am applying from turkey. Thanks
I don't know how the embassy over there works but i recommend the following:
Call/write your school, telling them your challenges and ask if its possible for tnem to give you an extension or if you can enrol from your country.

Go to the internet and look for your city's allien office/foreigners office contact and enquire about the status of your visa and tell them the urgency of the situation.
Those are the two buttons you should be pressing now.

Hello guys, I just want to say a word of prayer for our dear country that it shall be well with our land.

It is really sad to witness the hardship ongoing in the country. To think that blocked account value has more than doubled in 1 year cry cry

To all those still seeking a route, It shall end in praise.

Happy sunday house.

Please I am currently filling online application for Munster buh quite confused. I got to where I am supposed to upload documents but I want to ask. Do I upload my normal documents or I need to take it to court or embassy for certification before I upload it.

Hence house, I have not certify my document yet. Does it mean I have to certify it before I upload it. Or certification is only needed when sending hardcopy.

You can upload your documents prior to certification. But you'll need to certify the copies of the documents you're sending to Germany.

It's ur choice and no one can decide for you.. We are in the same shoe but am in 300L and am looking forward to apply BSc for the summer 2017, so if it doesn't work out due to financial strain and recession brouhaha then I'll wait till i finish my BSc and go for master in Germany.. My dream to study in Germany is very much alive.
