Got reply from VETASSESS this morning concerning my advisory service and i was asked to apply with my documents. My Bsc qualification is likely to be assessed at AQF Bachelor degree level.

Full assessment loading.............

For others waiting for response from VETASSESS, you need to be on their neck. I sent a mail to them on Monday and i got positive response this morning. It will definitely end with praise.

@Metrecube,

good on you... goodspeed for the remaining.. What is your occupation?

@Sassyboochic,

Are you in Perth? One good advice at this stage is to patiently read the thread. I believe you will find your answers there and in added links..

What is your occupation?

in other news.. been practicing PTE-A writing... averaging 300 words in 15 minutes for the essay part, so I guess my typing speed is not as much of a problem as I originally thought. smiley
What is the secret of this typing speed of yours?.... . Pls I need those magical fingers... I type very slow.

Advisory service is being replaced by another service which they are yet to commence. I was lucky to lodged mine a day before they stopped it.
You may need to apply directly to VETASSESS but make sure you surf their website very well. It will definitely end well.

Hello all, is it possible to get a job offer in OZ from Nigeria for Victoria state sponsorship or any of the states. thanks.
lumzy1:
Hello all, I appreciate the good work you all doing on this forum. I am in a situation where i would need advise on what to do next. I recently applied for Victoria State Sponsorship for the second time and got rejected. Nominated occupation is Geologist (234411), Point 70. Want to ask what other route can I use to get state sponsorship since Geologist is under CSOL. Tasmania and Queensland both require either a family connection with the state or job offer which I dont have. With this its seems there isn't any other feasible options available.

The PTE-A material that you have. Does it have explanations to given answers? The ones I got just contains questions and solutions without explaining how the answers were gotten. Please try and send if you do have..diggy2gud@gmail.com

I woke this morning feeling dat way; I still do.

24 February 2016: PTE (L R W S : 90 85 90 66)

22 April 2016: IELTS speaking bumped to 8. Plus I got my refund.

31 May 2016: CDR submission to EA

17 June 2016: Positive outcome (Engr. Tech)

18 June 2016: EOI submitted

06 July 2016: Invitation to apply

09 August 2016: Visa application lodged

12 September 2016: CO contact for wife's functional English (she wasn't satisfied with letter from her school)

25 September 2016: Uploaded wife's PTE scores. L R W S 82 74 66 81

13 October 2016: Grants received in mailbox, for me, my wife and daughter. IED 9th Aug 2017. Processing team - Brisbane.

I didn't use work experience points. Just d minimum 60 points.

After worrying and fuzzing over nothing, I finally have it. At work right now, but it is a sweet feeling. Still thanking God for it all. I read contents on this forum and expatforum, and it has rili helped. Grateful to everyone for their contributions. I wish us all success in our endeavors. May our dreams come true.

You will write any of IELTS, TOEFL or PTE. Not compulsory to be academic except your assessing authority specify academic.

And you don't need English for VETASSES assessment.
does that mean one can do the eoi first before the english test?

just try again... reading is not that difficult.. na speaking dey give people headache, and you obviously have that under control..

oh, and tip for next time.. some parts of reading have negative marking.... those parts where you select multiple correct answers.. if youre not absolutely sure, abeg no select... a mark is deducted for each incorrect one.

i think that applies to the objective questions too... where you choose from options... na wetin I sure say drag your reading below 79 be that.

Phew!!!!!

That feeling when lecturer gives u 69B.

You were just 1 mark away from 20 points. Not to worry though. If u could have 78, then 79 won't be an issue in ur next exam (that's if u need that 20 point that much)

Best wishes
