Loooooooolllllll....... Aha!!!! I don hook you now......

Then good, we don reach compromise point now.

The position that combines Nacho's "10" and "9" qualities..... Nacho in an "MSN-like" attacking trident with Nacho to come from the right as the RWF... And Success from the left as the LWF and Osimhen in the middle.... smiley

Iwobi will play as part of a midfield three wearing the "creative cap" like an Iniesta and one of Kelechi Nwakali/Ovie Ejaria will play the Xavi role..... Our "busquests" will be one of Ndidi, Chidi Nwakali, veteran Onazi, or Esiti....

Our backline will have who we have but with good quality fullbacks.

Nacho's future are in three folds....

1. As a no.10 or "behind-the-striker/Man-in-the-hole" executor

2. As a no.9 with a "badass" no.10 behind him...

3. As part of an MSN-like attacking trident with Nacho playing false 9, or top 9 or coming most preferably from the right-to-central as the RWF.

When I see you guy mention Success -Oshimien- Nacho, I always smile and pray that day come quickly with Iwobi and Kelechi nwakali behind them mabasi! May that era come quickly.

I was so crazy about Nacho's finishing until I watched Osimhen. I have not seen a striker wrap his foot around the ball when shooting like Osimhen.

With Osimhen coming in, I opt we play a similar system to Enrique's Barcelona. As Guardiola puts it, a Machine made up of excellent forwards.

With Success, Osimhen and Iheanacho, setting up as Neymar, Suarez and Messi. All forwards with brilliant goal scoring records.

MSN

AF Nigeria 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers - Africa Cameroon
Work begins on pitch for Nigeria World Cup qualifier vs Algeria

Work has begun in earnest on the pitch of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, where Nigeria will host Algeria in continuation of the qualifying series for the 2018 World Cup.

African Qualifying Series Group B leaders Nigeria host Algeria’s Fennecs at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on 12th November 2016 in one of the Matchday 2 encounters.

In line with the NFF’s promise to get the Akwa Ibom State Government to work on the turf, following some complaints by Super Eagles’ players after last month’s 2017 Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania, the NFF wrote to Governor Udom Emmanuel on the issue and followed up with a first inspection of the pitch on Saturday.

The NFF’s inspection team, led by the deputy general secretary, Emmanuel Ikpeme, and including assistant director (technical) Siji Lagunju and chief sports officer, Sunday Okayi, was received and taken on the tour of the venue by Monday Uko, the Akwa Ibom State commissioner for youth and sports and the commissioner for special duties, Etido Inyang.

The consultant to Julius Berger, the world–renowned construction company handling the work, was with the team.

A second inspection has been fixed for Tuesday, 25th October, while the final inspection will come up on Wednesday, 2nd November.

“It is a task that we are approaching with all seriousness, and we want to appreciate the Akwa Ibom State Government for the seriousness that it is also attaching to this important task,” Ikpeme said.

Earlier on Thursday, 13th October, NFF 1st vice president Seyi Akinwunmi and chairman of the technical and development committee, Chris Green, as well as Ikpeme, held a meeting with Uko to discuss logistics in order to ensure seamless organisation of the big match.

Also on Thursday, t Ikpeme led Abdelwahab Djahid Zefizef, 1st vice president of the Algeria Football Federation, on a guided tour of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, following a written request to that effect by the FAF.

Nigeria beat Algeria to lift her first –ever Africa Cup of Nations when hosting in 1980, but Algeria returned the compliment when hosting 10 years later. Algeria defeated Nigeria home and away in 1981 in the qualifying race for the 1982 FIFA World Cup, but Nigeria returned the compliment in 2005, in the race for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

In the qualifying race for 1994 FIFA World Cup, Nigeria defeated Algeria in Lagos and drew with the Fennecs in Algiers to qualify for her first ever World Cup.

Algeria came from behind to beat Nigeria at the 1982 Africa Cup of Nations in Libya. Both countries played a 0-0 draw at the 1984 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, but Nigeria ousted Algeria on penalties in the semi finals of the 1988 Cup finals in Morocco.

Nigeria defeated Algeria 1-0 at the 2002 Africa Cup in Mali, and by the same scoreline at the 2010 Africa Cup finals in Angola to win bronze.

AF Nigeria 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers - Africa Algeria
How Nollywood star saved Super Eagles World Cup dream

Nigeria match winners in Zambia - Kelechi Iheanacho (left) and Alex Iwobi

by Samm Audu

Friday Oct 14, 2016.

AfricanFootball.com can exclusively reveal that it needed Nollywood actor-turned-politician Desmond Elliot to walk NFF president Amaju Pinnick through the corridors of power for the government to eventually release 100 million Naira for the Super Eagles to fly to Zambia for a 2018 World Cup qualifier.

It is now recent history that the Super Eagles will go on to beat hosts Zambia 2-1 to go top of their qualifying group to Russia 2018.

A desperate Pinnick had made a last-ditch effort to get the senate to come to the Eagles rescue only days to the World Cup qualifier only to be met by a brick wall when he was told by the senate President to come up with accounts of the NFF’s sponsorship earnings since last year.

A top source has now told AfricanFootball.com that it was therefore Nollywood star and producer Desmond Elliot, who used his political connections to arrange for a meeting with the country’s Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, who now directed a memo to be put up.

“Elliot is now a politician and also a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and it was he who brokered a meeting for Pinnick with the Vice-President,” a top government source informed only AfricanFootball.com

“It was at this meeting that the Vice-President directed that an emergency memo be put up and routed through the sports minister.

“And that was how the government finally released 100 million Naira to the NFF for the World Cup qualifier.”

Uhhhmmmm..... The NFF is still an ass of an organisation despite the small good.

They are still the ones that caused the U-20 team to fail to qualify.

They oversaw the failure of our u-17s also.

So abeg... they are to be commended for the good, yes.... But hit hard for the bad biko.

My own na dis: Echiejile na left back. Moses plays on the right... So how e take connect?? Tu comprends?? smiley

In our Super Eagles na Iwobi dey left not Moses.

Since, Moses Victor came to the National team, he has always played on the left. If you remember the match against Ethiopia at the 2013 AFCON, he played on the Left.

He even played in that position recently against Egypt and Tanzania.

So, I think he was right about it.

Since Okocha left, I have not seen a player play the ten role like Aluko for the Super Eagles. He has bags of tricks, direct and creates loads of chances when he plays wit the team. We also have Iwobi who will perform brilliantly behind our dream trident strikers, Success, Osimhen and Iheanacho.

Who we choose to play behind them must have the ability to create multiple chances for these forwards.

Playing Iheanacho behind the front line reduces his scoring chances. We might celebrate four goals but he might have scored seven or eight in a front line where he gets lots of chances.
I don't think Aluko, and Joel Obi as well belongs in the emerging golding era we r anticipating,or who r u going to drop in order to accommodate him in the midfield? Is it Mikel,Iwobi or Iheanacho,he is good player in his own right but the ones we r using presently is far better than Aluko.

And we still have other young midfielders coming up,players like Mathew and Yahaya. I even prefer forgiveness' Ajagun to Aluko, but it does not mean that he will near this current set up as it stands.

We r gradually building a team we can easily name 9 or 10 players out of our first 11,it makes the job easier for our coaches as they will know the players they will concentrate n work on.

I haven't forgotten a thing Bro.... My own is simple.... Victor moses can't play left-full back!!! Coz that was his suggestion since Moses can play on the left.

He also mentioned conte's use of moses as the solution to our left back problem since moses can play defensively also as seen for chelsea. BUT HE DIDN'T REALISE CONTE IS USING MOSES AS A RIGHT WING BACK NOT LEFT WING BACK.

Even at Wigan... Na right him dey sef predominantly. I lie?

Iwobi reveals Ozil was helpful to him at Arsenal
Super Eagles and Arsenal Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi has opened up on how World Cup winner Mesut Ozil has been of help since he broke into the Gunners' first team last term.

In terms of sporting role models, it’s fair to say that Alex Iwobi has been spoilt for choice, having grown up under the legendary Jay-Jay Okocha’s guidance.

The 20-year old forward is now proving himself on the world stage, but he is still looking to learn from world-class players like Mesut Ozil who recently compared him to his skillful uncle and one of Netherlands' finest player of all time Edgar Davis.

“Mesut just tells me that I’m young and need to express myself on the pitch. Obviously I need to listen to other people’s advice as well, but he tells me to always play with a smile on my face and enjoy the game.

“I’m the same kid I used to be, the same kid who used to work hard. T

here’s a bit of luck as well. For me to get that chance and take it like I did, I’m just fortunate and happy to have taken them. I guess it’s luck at the end of the day.

“I’m never really happy or satisfied with my performances. I always want to improve and I think that’s probably got me to whereI am. I’m still learning the game and want to be doing than what I am at the moment, so I’ll keep putting 100 per cent into whatever I do.” Iwobi told Arsenal Player.

The Nigerian international continued for fine form on Saturday as he helped Arsenal to a sixth consecutive league victories following a 3-2 win over Swansea City at the Emirates stadium.

I did enjoy the analyzes and individual opinions on 3 - 4 - 3, but in reality the Formation won't work for the Super Eagles.

We ain't in Europe, rather in Africa. You can't expect our Players to train just for few Days to the Match and do miracle with the proposed Formation.

Some Fans are trying hard to include Moses in the Golden Generation, but is he really want to be part of, same as Success?!

I checked on the Lineup of Mainz 05 and couldn't see Balogun on the list! Alas! Moses enjoyed 90mins of football, Success played for 89mins - and these are Players just returning from Injury!

Nigeria is blessed with a huge Pool of talented Players at the moment..... so happy I am that we have a German in charge! We would be disappointed if we keep on suggesting or forcing Moses and Success on Rohr!

He knows the calibre of Players he needs to execute his plans, tactics and formation. He's up to the Task, hence we should calmly believe in him!

I repeat 3-4-3 is not gonna work with the Super Eagles. It's simply a Doom, a potential Setback, and we are going to be disgraced by the Algeria Team if we try it.

Nigeria U23 Ace Etebo Scores In Second Straight Game After Return From Injury

Oghenekaro Etebo scored for the second game running as CD Feirense beat Alcanenense 2-1 in the Portuguese League Cup on Sunday afternoon at Joaquim Maria Batista Stadium.

The Nigeria U23 international scored an important game-winner for theSanta Maria da Feira club in the 77th minute.

Only last weekend, Etebo netted forCD Feirense in their 3-0 rout of Tondela, his first competitive game on his return from injury.

The 20-year-old had suffered an injury setback soon after he returned to Portugal after starring at the Olympic Games, but his fitness concerns are now a thing of the past based on his performances.

He joined CD Feirense in the January transfer window, snubbing the advances of a couple of teams based in North Africa.

Moses Simon Scores In Front Of Manchester United, Newcastle Scouts

Moses Simon was on target in Gent’s 3-0 win over Zulte-Waregem at the Ghelamco Arena on Sunday afternoon in the Belgian First Division A.

The 21-year-old made the starting line-up alongside fellow Nigeria international Anderson Esiti, while Rabiu Ibrahim and Kingsley Madu started on the bench for Gent and Zulte-Waregem respectively.

Thirteen minutes before the end of the contest, Simon scored to give the home team a two-goal cushion, before Madu entered into the fray in the 86th minute.

Kalifa Coulibaly had got the ball rolling two minutes out of intermission, and a goal from Hannesvan der Bruggen in the closing minutes ensured the three points were safe in the bag for the 2015 champions.

Scouts representing Manchester United, Everton , Aston Villa, Norwich City and Newcastle United were at the Ghelamco Arena to watch the match.

we r not going to play 3-4-3 because we don't have the right players for such formation,is too risky. But even if we do play 3-4-3 now,we won't b disgraced by Algeria or any team in the world.
No matter how bad SE might have played in the past, I haven't watched a match they were completely disgraced since the game against Denmark. I repeat,no team can disgrace us in the world talk less of Africa. We will beat Algeria 3-0 or 3-1.

IOS buh musa yahaha is still on the way also where will iwobi play cuz dat playmaker role is for kelechi nwankali on if we use 3-4-3 iwobi isnt good at trackin back to defend but anyways lets wait for their time to come cant wait for dat golden generation 2 come

I believe a 4-3-3 formation will suit just fine. With Iwobi tucked in the middle with Mikel. Iwobi will play an advanced role in midfield. Yahaya and Iwobi can battle for the Iniesta role. While Kelechi Nwakali will understudy one of the best in the game, Mikel Obi. K. Nwakali looks an heir to Mikel's throne.
