SLAMS GOVERNOR WILLIE OBIANO OVER BAD ROAD ALONG UNIZIK GATE IFITE



An angry UNIZIK 400 level student, Michael Ngige took to social media yesterday to pour out his anger over the bad road which leads to the school gate permanent site, ifite road which the government over a long time have been promising to work on.
From comments gathered from his post the bad road
filled with pot holes which many many cars and heavy vehicles get stucked into, and even Okada men and their passengers falls sometimes into the mud, started from Emmanuel Lodge down to the road that leads to other lodges after the ifite unizik school gate.



Here is what he wrote on the image above;

What pains me the most and even breaks my heart the more is the manner in which Gov. Obiano's SSAs still go around on social media proclaiming how palliative work went down on the infamous Ifite road

Please take a good look at the picture, Does it look like manual labour or even Saturday clean-up has been done on this road wee forduzia palliative work.

Just for the sole purpose of eating the crumbs off the table of Obiano, The president of Anambra state students, whom should be fighting for the students also hopped onto the band wagon proclaiming that the governor has repaired the road buh is waiting for the rains to stop in order to tar it...

Please, Which government waits for a particular season in order to save its citizens from disaster and forseeable doom

In one of the pictures, you can see an individual walking through the dirty, smelly, filthy, contagious, infested flood water cuz there is no other way to go through..

In other higher citadel of learning, this would have caused a terrible revolt cum protest that would shake the country... Buh Unizik students in their normal "let's manage" and "let peace reign" plus "what can we do kwanu" atitude, things continue to go wrong...

Fear has gripped the people in Anambra State over the rise
in the rate of the dreaded HIV/AIDS disease.
This is following the revelation by the Executive Director,
Anambra State Aids Control Agency, (ANSACA), Dr O.J
Ndibe that the prevalence rate has hit 8.7 percent in the
state.


Speaking at a public presentation and the adoption of the
state Monitoring and Evaluation plan on HIV intervention
organized by Measure and Evaluation, Implementation
partners and the Anambra State government in Awka,
Thursday, Dr Ndibe disclosed that the State ranks 4th in the
country, stressing that the report was based on the 2014
survey.


According to Dr. Ndibe, to check the rising trend of new
HIV cases, ANSACA has adopted a multi sectoral HIV
response by synergizing with UNICEF, FH1360, PPFN,
Local Action Committees in Aids, Civil Societies and the
media, for proper grassroots sensitization.


He said the plan was produced by the Anambra Aids
Control Agency (ANSACA) with Technical and financial
support by Measure Evaluation, adding that it will go a
long way to sensitize the public on HIV/AIDS.

Imo state is the states with the highest HIV/AIDS in the SE. While Anambra is among the lowest. FACTS are sacred..LOL

Chances of getting infected with HIV/AIDS in Rivers state, Nigeria’s oil-rich city is pretty high as it ranks number one in the country.

There’s loads of money in Rivers, so is the vulnerability of its citizens and residents to HIV/AIDS.

According to the HIV/AIDS prevalence ranking by states published by National Agency for the Control of Aids (NACA) after the 2013 National Aids Reproductive Health Survey, Rivers sits pretty at the top 4.7 per cent more than number two, Taraba state.

The ranking also came as a result of test carried out on persons living with HIV/AIDS.

It showed that Rivers with 15.2 per cent topped the new prevalence chat, as Taraba with 10.5 per cent is second, while Kaduna has 9.2 per cent to be on the third.

Nasarawa, FCT, Akwa Ibom, Sokoto and Oyo are on the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth spots respectively on the prevalence rate chart with 8.1, 7.5, 6.5, 6.4, 5.6 and 5.6 per cent respectively.

On number 10 is Yobe with 5.3%. Here’s how other states rank: Cross River – 4.4%, Ondo – 4.3%, Gombe – 3.4%, Abia – 3.3%, Bayelsa – 2.7%, Osun – 2.6%, Imo – 2.5%, Borno – 2.4%, Plateau – 2.3%, Lagos – 2.2%, Jigawa – 2.1%, Adamawa – 1.9%, Kwara – 1.4%, Kogi – 1.4%, Kano – 1.3%, Enugu – 1.3%, Niger – 1.2%, Anambra – 1.2%, Ebonyi – 0.9%, Kebbi – 0.8%, Edo – 0.8%, Delta – 0.7%, Ogun – 0.6%, Bauchi – 0.6%, Zamfara – 0.4%, Ekiti – 0.2%.
