I'm impressed with the level of development going in SE without much oil revenue...see Awka modern houses like Abuja! Very ashamed of SS despite our huge oil revenue!

Some groups in the SS will develop fast with a good system in place while there are also SS groups that if given 100 years and all the resources will still find it hard to develop.

I taught you Anambra guys wanted to move to Omambala Website what are you guys doing on Nairaland? You Anambra folks are a disgrace to the Igbo nation always causing division with your false sense of superiority, always angry when other Igbo states progress. I have watched and saw irrational Anambra folks run down all South East States. I know that if we Igbos in Delta State are not sharing our state with non Igbos, you guys would be angry when we progress and ran it down. Awka is beautiful but it is ranked No 4 in terms of beauty and structures in South East Nigeria.

This thread is nice but Chino its time for sober reflection. If another Igbo State opens 5his kind of thread the 1st thing you will do is to import all pictures of bad roads in Nigeria and disrupt the thread. Imagine if I decide to start posting my own "real pictures of Awka" how will you feel?

Awka has 15 hotels of 3star class and you are happy but Owerri with over 600 you condemn.

mightyokwy:

Ada is not true, we are not arrogant, you guys have wrong perception about us. A typical Anambra man is bold, confident and he can never be subdued by intimidation. I schooled in Ebonyi and I no how Ebonyians behave when they meet us. My best friend those days is from ezzamgbo, I stop visiting his family due to the way they treat me any time I visit them. Imagine his parents greating me as if am their elder, is very embarrassing. Am the one who pulled my friend from inferiority complex.

I love Anambra people esp their boys(they are mostly cute) BUT I Do NOT Like their ARROGANCE, BRAGGARDISM and SUPERIORITY COMPLEX.
They always see themselves as First class Igbos, an Ebonyi man is inferior to them in their eyes.
Igbo Race don't begin and end in Anambra, Recently 2015 IGR Report shows that Enugu state have the highest IGR in South East but you will never see an enugu man bragging about it.
And Yes, Enugu City is a more beautiful City than Awka and Enugu is 4times the size of Anambra.
Ebonyi and Abia are ahead of Anambra in Agriculture.
Let the Anambra man drop his arrogance and embrace humbleness.
Ndewo nu o.

And you wonder why Anambra man look down on you. Out of nowhere and unprovoked you jumped in here to insult and abuse the Anambra man. Comparing us to Enugu which is unreasonable. Talking about agriculture which you know nothing about. Your insecurity is so obvious.
Anambra is the fastest developing state after Ogun or so and you want to compare us to a one city state who's IGR is depreciating...lol.

Let me tell you something...All fingers are not equal!

Abagworo:

Associating me with Chino's stupidity is nothing but complete deviation. No Igbo man has dedicated as much time to sewing seed of discord and involving every means possible to condemn other Igbo States but his. Any attack I've ever done is a direct response to attempted false representation of other Igbos by Chino or other Anambrians who take delight in that. Have you seen me condemn Abia, Enugu or Ebonyi?

Deep in our heart we all know the truth and the attempt to paint every other Igbo black by Chino and other Anambrians will always be resisted by me. Thats just my interest.

Finally notice that any Igbo man that criticises Anambra State or its Governor is declared enemy while those who criticise Imo, Abia, Enugu or Ebonyi are declared heroes. Until every criticism by everybody is considered done in good faith then nobody has the right to criticise any State but his.

You see the problem is the jealousy displayed by you guys against every other Igbo State and the tolerance of other Igbos which has made it seem like they are weak. I keep saying it without fear or favour that the rest of Igboland will be much more united if we remove Anambra from our meetings and issues of general Igbo interest. Only a brainless person will not read the writing on the wall and think falsely that you are his brother. For me Rivers people are even more of brothers to Southern Igbos in deeds and association.

Like Rochas Okorocha rightly said Anambra is the reason for political retardatiin of Igbo ethnic group.

As for Awka it remains the least developed State Capital in the Southeast going by the appalling pictures posted so far on this thread.

Why are you always bitter with yourself? Can Owerri beat any picture already posted here? Why are you always frustrated and filled with inferiority complex?

It is very clear that Awka has made Owerri to look like a rural town. The pictures speaks volume and contradicts everything you say all the time. Until your useless state gets infrastructures as this then your state capital will continue to be backward and desolate.
