Actually there have been extractions, but they have to bring the bodies or injured down to camp 2 which can be suicidal. You can check the attached map on page 1.

I learnt choppers cant go beyond Camp 2, and most of these deaths occured after camp 3 or 4 at about 20,000ft.

One of the youngest kid to reach the summit of Everest.

Jordan Romero (born July 12, 1996), an American mountain climber Jordan was 13 years old when he reached the summit of Mt. Everest.

Romero was accompanied by his father Paul Romero, his step-mother Karen Lundgren, and three Sherpas, Ang Pasang Sherpa, Lama Dawa Sherpa, and Lama Karma Sherpa.

The previous record for youngest to climb Everest was held by Ming Kipa of Nepal who was 15 years old when she reached the summit in 2009.

Jordan was the youngest person to summit Everest until Malavath Poorna, an Indian girl summited when she was 13 and eleven months just one month younger than Jordan when he reached the summit.

He was inspired to climb the tallest mountains of each continent when he saw a painting in the hallway of his school that had the seven continents' highest mountains.

Perhaps that is why we are black Africans. We are content with owning a home, a car, a large amount of money, children and maybe grandchildren then we can happily say we have arrived. We are now ready to go to the great beyond. But even at that probably at the age of 100 years we will still struggle to Stay in this world.
Most whites are beyond concern about what to put in the mouth.
I feel we are unique and I am sure some day we will outgrow this mentality and moved on to something higher.
Just few years ago who could have thought that a Nigerian will tie a bomb around the waist and detonate it to kill himself and others.
Yet this is a reality in our lives.
We will get there Someday.

Am a lady chemist lol

The whites are after breaking records, making history, names, doing what no one has ever done, and seeing what no one has ever seen even if its going to cost them their lives. And thats why they are flying.

But we, all we want is a paper(Degree)even if we cant make a practical of whats on the paper, get a job/business, get a car, house, get married, have kids, and die.

You nailed it dear. That is the reason.
If I am to come to this life again certainly I don't want to be born an African

Hehehehe
I'm not sure I've got what it takes right now. I am damn scared of heights. But I've made a conscious decision to face my fears. I've been doing that lately. So by the time I get to face the Everest, I should have psyched myself up enough to do it...hopefully cheesy

Thank God scientists for advancements in technology. Don't worry, by the time we both save up enough money and work up enough courage to attempt it, it'd be a lot safer...Unfortunately, I'm still scared of heights cry
