I don't know why. But I don't get the "mention" notification. But on clicking the "MT" to see mentions, I find it highlighted there. The problem is with the "notification."

Concerning daamazing 's idea of taking a lecture a little bit back for the sake of absolute "newbies," I kind of selfishly buy it oh.. Lol.

But bennymark 's idea of checking some things out on Google and bringing questions isn't bad too; that's if it'll be a little bit more tasking for amagunnerfan - and of cause, if its inconvenient for others following the lecture.

No wahala, all is good, let the boss do as it pleases him, it is necessary we are all carried along, else the aim of the lecture will totally not be accomplished. so it's OK if we go over every little detail by the feather. Hi all, for those who do not know the reason for this thread, I had promised on this thread "Has The Google Adsense Program Been Fair To You? Share Your Payment Experience" to educate some bloggers and would be bloggers on how they can through their blogs make good money. This all started when I posted the screenshot of my last adsense pay out.

Yes, I make as much as $7000 per month from adsense and other networks. That's above 2 million naira - depending off course on how hard I work. If you don't believe it is your cup of tea but couple of people here who have had discussions with me on here on Nairaland know it is a fact and to be honest, I have no reason to lie. I am not selling an info product and don't even have one and not looking for popularity on a faceless forum where I have even refused to reveal my indentity.

In this thread and in the next three months, I am going to be showing you guys how I achieve this.

We will discuss

how to pick a niche - things I consider before I pick a niche, how I decide if a niche is worth my time and more.

how to do proper keyword research - this just as niche research is the most important thing but most Nairalanders and Nigerians at large do not know how to go about this hence I will carry out a detailed post on how to conduct keyword research. I will also do a video record which will be uploaded to youtube and the link searched that will show you guys how to conduct proper keyword research.

Ad networks I use - I use adsense among other ad networks and I will list out these networks and explain how exactly everyone interested can get into the networks.

how to rank for my keywords - the tools I use, where I get backlink, how I determine the number of backlinks I need.

Importantly, we are going to be attempting to make $1000 per month with just 1 hour of work per day. With $1000 a month, you will be making well over 400,000 naira a month which to me is a good start especially considering the fact that you can scale up the work and make more money.

I will be using two blogs for this challenge. One of them I will use to apply for Adsense as time goes on. Not because I need another adsense account but because I see Nigerians struggle to get approved for Adsense and I want to show it can be done and very easily too.

NB 1 -

Our aim will be to make $1000 per month minimum at the end of the 3rd month. Not before that and after the three month to consistently make $1000 per month minimum with just 1 hour of work. This is a challenge, a process and not a magic so be patient and give me the time needed as I demystify the process for you all.

I am not going to be replying PM or emails so don't waste your time. I have had too many issues with wanting to teach Nigerians or employing Nigerians and I am not going to be doing anything private any more. Don't even try. I won't reply you unless I know you before now.

Monitizing a blog is primarily dependent on the quality of your traffic.

You should consider the renowned ad placement networks like Adsense, Media.net, Pixfuture etc (though I saw some ads like adsense already)

You can write reviews of products relating to your niche and add affiliate links. Remember to make such reviews honest and convincing enough. Affiliate marketing is da bomb!


If you can come up with an idea you are sure people will pay for, then you can create an information product in the form of an ebook and give it an affordable price. Consider making a freee version as intro to d paid version


You can do local advertising and banner placement on your blog.

If your host is different from your domain registrar, then you shhould probaably check the domain name server to be sure it is pointing to the host

If they are all from Godaddy, then you should know a new site might probably be offline till you authhorize it online, this iss however dependent on domain registraar and host as this perception might not be positive in aall scenarios. Godaddy infact gives you a temporary domain to design your sign and make it ready for the audience b4 u go fully live

Hi all, I am sorry for the lack of updates here. I was going to update here on Friday but due to health challenge, I could not. Something happened which shocked me and made it impossible for me to use my left arm... can't disclose more than this.

Things I have done

I asked for 50 articles to be written for the challenge and waiting for the writer to turn them in.

One of the keywords - "for GOD so love the world" That's is to give you an idea of what the niche is. It is an extremely very lucrative niche and I have merely used the keyphrase "for God so love the world" so as to make the site broader as I intend to sell the site on flippa.com after 6 months.

Things to do

I will be creating a facebook page where I will be sharing daily bible updates ( well not me but one of my virtual assistants will do it, I was able to get one for cheap for the purpose of this challenge ).

Budget - I am going to be spending $500 on this challenge. This is big amount of money for a beginner to spend. But in my next post, I will providing tips and details on how you can get this $500 by working as virtual assistant for others.

For now, my post won't be more than this. I can barely use my arm well.

I doubt I can maintain posting every day due to other things including having to help my wife with the baby, supervising my own building and other offline business.

I will take my time to reply all comments shortly.
