The effect of the Buhari change, what amazes is that some Oloriburuku Mashafani people will still come on here to look for excuses and defend buhari. When its clear cut that Buhari has failed this country & Buhari is a failure...
As it stands this country can only expect the worst. Just being realistic. I don't see a happy ending
wat are they defending ? If it happened in the 80s and it's happening now it's no coincidence .. It shows he is the cause of the recession simple

If only our dull and obstinate president heeded calls from last year to allow the currency float... Now see where we are today...

And the dullard is still looking for oil in the Chad basin and in the north... When we all know oil is the curse we suffer from today... No diversification blueprint in the short, medium and long terms...

What exactly can this government be commended for?

angry
Currency floating or not is not the problem, the dollar is not just available even if the currency swim the dollar will still not be available, the only way to get dollar is to export, wich we r currently not doing.

Answer this question - is it Buhari that made the prices of oil in the world market to Plummet?

What could Buhari have done to ensure we have enough dollars to satisfy our need for "foreign"?

If naira had been floated by this time last year, I tell you we wouldn't have sunk to this abysmal level.

I mentioned diversification in my earlier post. This government needs to come up with a workable economic blueprint vis a vis diversification or we'll continue to sink even lower.

It's all a mess...

I think we have so many Graduates who can't reason well. The militants keep bombing the pipelines therefore reducing the forex. The oil price Globally has reduced, so where does the Federal govt get dollars from.

I mentioned short, medium and long term goals. There has to be a workable blueprint in place at least.

This government has done absolutely nothing at all in terms of diversification of our mono economy...

Don't even know what to say at this point. The dollar scarcity is still real.

The earlier we start earning dollars the better. Crude oil prices still not impressive.

Time to look into other forms of FX revenue:
Tourism
Agriculture
Solid minerals
Export
Outsourcing etc
Exportation is the answer but the FG makes it difficult for interested people

This is exactly the problem. We have oil and that made us abandoned other sectors. Now oil is near useless and we are stranded.

You expect us to right the wrong of so many years in just one year? It takes time. We must suffer for not diversifying the economy since the discovery of oil.
