I only asked you a simple question. If the logic of your "legally accepted definitions" holds up then it should enable you answer my question with ease, just as easily as 1+1 always equals 2, and 2+2 always equals 4.

No need for evasive ranting.

Let me just help you. There are some things such as murder, for which you can be defined by a single act, given the discrete, irrevocable nature of the act or event. E.g a murderer is always a murder, but one can be a former thief, a former rebel. To call a man a thief when he has stopped stealing is inaccurate. But if you insist, then answer my initial question...are you still an embryo? A primary school kid?

To help you with definitions:

Cambridge English Dictionary: thief: a person who steals

Oxfordictionaries.com: a person who steals another person's property

Merriam-Webster: one that steals especially stealthily or secretly

Now, what can you tell me is the consistent factor in the definitions? I know you won't know, so let me help you: the usage of present continuous tense (steals instead of has stolen). That is, a thief is one who is, in the current period of time, engaged in stealing. A person may have been a thief but that does not make him one forever, especially if the law as run its course. Similarly, a lesbian may not always remain a lesbian.

If you like, don't learn. Legally accepted definitions indeed. smh.
