Hello house, is advisable to enter the states exactly or about 30 days before resumption?
Someone was telling me its a no-no and might raise suspicion at the point of entry about where'd I'd be staying before school resumes and advised about two weeks before resumption. I declared I don't have family on my ds 160 so there's no point saying I'm going to visit any uncle or aunty. But I intend to stay with a friend before resumption. But he isn't in the same state though. Or is it a crime not to go to your school's destination straight?

Are you sure you are really going to school grin wink .....lol joking
but i think going 30 days is fine . there is no law against that and yes it is possible to go spend time with a friend or family before you resume . The POE might not ask for your connecting flight but have it in case they ask

*MMM is bound to crash terribly one day (all Ponzi / pyramid scheme do because its the model just taking from peter to pay paul)* ....... but the ones who can cash out before it crash gain and some do make big gains .
But the only thing is no body can predict the day it will crash

It will go on pause mode by resetting if people don't PH so as to GH those who have done PH and not crashing.

Even banks are bound to crash and that when we see CBN taking over and merging two banks together..

Same way banks are taking from Peter to pay Paul and non of us are aware.. I like MMM ideology no be small

Every month banks used our money to trade by using it to give loans to dangote and his cohorts while they are getting rich day by day and banks collect the interest rate and share among themselves both junior and as irk staffs and at month end bank pay me #3 as Interest on my account and at the end of same month bank will charge me #100 and above as monthly charges is this not say light robbery?

Alert coming every week for Peopel as MMM is concerning and I have seen people using MMM to buy new phones, one girl on this thread used it to pay her house rent and I knew one guy who is planning to use it to buy a new car and sell is old car.. Tell me will bank help us or CBN help us. ?

If MMM crash today let's have it in our mind that we dash single individual money and not group of people, am sure majority in this world can dash a single person money and over look it and not group of people coming to collect their money and run away..

If you can take risk and you don't have money to school or your money is not complete to fly to Obamaland, you better go and use it do MMM even dangote and his cohorts took risk with their money to get to where they are now not to take of others in the developed countries

Thanks for the response and as per connecting flight.
Is it also a crime to opt for bus instead of flight to save cost? Not minding the distance. The koko is sha to get to the final destination.

while i agree the early people who cash in with MMM can make gain abeg small small with advising on the bold. .......i dont see a disclaimer of risk
The key to this thing is knowing when it grows too big and walk away . The interest given is not sustainable on a rob peter to pay paul model , one thing is certain it will crash one day ................but hey if you can cash out before then , its not BAD AT ALL .

It will go on pause mode by resetting if people don't PH so as to GH those who have done PH and not crashing.......... this flew over my head ooo. what is PH and GH . Let me check google as this is not an MMM tread or advertisement

Just as you advised one to have plans for connecting flight. Do you need to buy a ticket before hand or its something you can do on arrival?

In a private university?? Of all universities in the US? Think twice..except you have $40k+ to be spending on tuition alone

BTW, how did you get to know about the school? Hope it's not some agent

Was told the fee for my course is $19k, and have to pay $8k at first. Already appling to Penn state and UNCC but their next intake is Fall,

How bad is it going to a private uni ?

I got to know about it from an educational agent. Really appreciate your response. Thanks.

did you go to the website to verify what the agency told you ....... I had friends in America University 10 years ago and it was so overpriced for nothing . It definitely would be more than 19k except if u mean 19k per semester

Private Uni are not bad but usually work out much more expensive than a Public school, also this school is in Washington DC, cost of living there is no joke ......so depending on your pocket and with the way the exchange rate is escaping through the roof . Except you have a lot of money , people are now choosing more economical tuition

I just checked the school site found out with the extimated living expenses and health insurance watever its far over $40k. Just 1 semesta. No wonder their January 2017 intake deadline is open till Dec 1.

Na vex i use close to page grin shocked

Thanks would have to wait till Fall, or u have any either of public schools whose deadline is not yet close for Summer ?

Lol @bold...... good lesson here. Never believe an agent , what i or anyone say on nairaland without first checking directly from the source and confirming.......

Also in this Buhari economy some cities work out way too expensive. MY sister is schooling in Washington dc and her rent alone is 980 per month. work that out in naira that way too much but when she started and we drew the budget for 4 years undergad plan we never imagined that the exchange rate will go crazy .... we too don learn an expensive lesson .

best to avoid expensive cities . WE could have been paying 300 usd in some other states. At the end of d day its same job most undergrad go get so why incur higher bill
