As human being we do show out preference to pray and not follow up with any action. Look at an online anonymous petition started 3 days ago, which if we get common 100 signers, the website will blast it on social media to support us, till now only 5 people have signed, we are doomed, what is the use complaining of NUT and NLC inaction, when we have the time to play on our phones but to comment on a simple anonymous petition, we can not, i dey fear our laziness... anyways lets keep praying and praying, dont worry God will come down from heaven and pay us in dollars...

This time around is reality.
But don't be too expectant today, because the money may gets to the bank today to be distributed to other banks, then from Monday they will start sending us alert.

That's not withstanding , something can still happen before the end of the day.

yes other banks might get next week. but zenith paying their customers today should be for sure. if what they said this morning is for real

That's the problem, rivers state teachers are non partisans. Am very such both APC and PDP member that teach are still not paid so you can't use this platform to campaign. #I WILL VOTE WHO I WILL VOTE. salary or not

I dont blame Wike, A Man who came to power without giving a damn about the lives lost before he assumed office. Gov Wike knew quite well that his emergence has nothing to do with voting rather via violence,militancy,thuggery and writing of results.

No militant is complaining,
No thug us complaining,
No Tout is complaining,
Rather Teachers and civil servants are complaining. That tells you the kind of Man we are dealing with.

It is high time we think. Politicians are disguising themself as teachers and uses this our forum to insult and campaign, and we the teachers will be the one to suffer the consequence.

For retaining our job without sacking, when he came to power, I like the governor for that, and will stand by him and pray for his success.

Some that are insulting him now were thesame people that wanted him to sack some teachers, but instead he retain them.

If you are the one that receives all these insult how will you feel, please it is high time we focus on a better aproach to receive our arrears salary.

Did we think that we suffer more than principals or vice principals, or we know more than them? Do they have their own page in nairaland? I believe they don't have.

Akwaibom state governor sack 5,000 teachers just yesterday, those that was employed for him to win election, for two years he refuses to deploy them to the primary place of appointment, he ended up in sacking them.

Let the NUT do their job, 7 months unpaid salary is bad, but we must follow the right way, not through insult & name calling.

When politicians uses this forum, they will only victimize us and run away.

Chief Wike our dear governor will finish his 4 years, and it's not good for teachers to be his enemy because of what other people say using this our forum. Some here are male using female name, I just discovered that recently.

No matter what, I like Wike and Amaechi.

Did u at all read WHY THEY WERE SACKED ? that akwaibom state sacked 5000 teachers has nothing to do with us the process that brought us in was transparent even wike knows that, if both teachers and principals are owed how is the suffering of principals greater than teachers ? That the principals fail to have their own page in naira land is non of our concern by the way this page is for teacher which ofcourae includes principals and vice principals what are you talking about ? Since NUT is not doing their job should we tthennfold our alms and die of hunger and neglect ? Who told you we are wikes's enemies ? He has far worst enemies waiting for him, you wike will come on air and declare that he's not owing yet he knows he's owing what do u call that ? That he didn't sack us(which I'm VERY SURE he would've done without looking back) is because of a higher power(GOD) who 'tied his hands'. If you want, campaign a billion times for him, if God says his time is up, IT IS UP, Period!!!

You mean you actually believed that news? Hmmm...That was just political talk to give us hope and remove our minds from strike. You never study these people?

It is quite disheartening & indeed inhumane to deliberately withhold someone's wages especially when you consider the rising inflation. Fellow colleagues my heart goes to you...

@Chibuking81 Martin Luther King said he who stands for nothing will fall for anything, as a full grown man if tomorrow your child reports to you that he is bullied, will you advice the kid to keep quiet & accept it?

Let's try as much as we can to let the public know what some of our colleagues are passing through. It is this lukewarm & timid attitude that has resulted to our senior colleagues being owed years of promotion arrears, promotion several times but only on paper & still being paid old salary, poor welfare, high handedness etc etc Look around you and enquire, it's mostly the people on the field that has these issues stated above & not other ministries

I've been quiet in this forum these past few weeks but I've come to realise that's their aim; to cause confusion amongst us thus they deliberately paid some & left some out.

Please let's speak up!
