To think that some 20 plus people who never even applied for this FIRS jobs were given appointment letters on saturday is another reminder on why recruitments in Nigeria are a mere formality.

It has bin soon since oct. Firs wants to finish it diz year but the green chamba stands as a wall. If resolved today, invitations could be nextw eek, if not resolved this yr, den it will be next year. Soon could be anytime

It should be separate and even staff cost is not included, so am suspecting this budget is different from the 16b for recrutiment defended by fowler sometimes ago

This recruitment ought to have been concluded in June, latest, but here we are running way behind schedule. I blame the NASS for this delay. Usually in budget administration, not all proposal is approved wholely. Some items are cut down and this is what the finance committee has failed to do. I hope they do the needful within one week as mandated by the Senate.

Fellow Nairalanders, I can confirm to you from a reliable source that candidates that are qualified for electronic test had been selected and invitation will be sent next week. My source plead with me to prepare very well for the test because my name is among those to be invited, but what he did not tell me is where the questions will come from. I am very optimistic that most of us nairalanders will be invited by God grace but I urge everyone NOT to rely on GMAT only as questions could come from anywhere. Read other materials and rely on God for favour. Good luck to whoever is invited. Thanks.

Some have gone into hiding in shame for false information. Although I want to believe you because I didn't see anything close to 'Recruitment/Training Funds or The like, in the recently rejected budget

that is what I dont know, but fowler defended 16b before the house sometimes ago and said is for recruitment

the chairman has added another 350 total now is over 700 secret appointed ...very coded no test or interview hp the remain vancant post will survive the onslaught by very powerful nigeria.....it easier to win a green card than to get this on merit 1400 person chasing one postion..must peope dont even have the minimum qualifaction but went ahead to flood the site now everbody suffer
