The Bokoharam(us) will adopt russia style to solve nigeria problem, by destroying all your buildings. Stay away from bokoharam(us) to save nigeria. I don't trust this new bokoharam(us) at all. AU is best for african problem.

let me be the first to say i have no respect for Soyinka and i think he is talking trash.when you hate someone for no reason and you think because you are a white man acclaimed technocrat because you wrote some books then you are part of the problems in this world.i do remember in late 2015 i paid a visit to the united states ,in Washington i meet up with a Professor who i was told advice's the government on issues relating to food ,this man tried for 20 good mins to convince me that in Nigerian rural areas we are hungry ,he even went as far as saying educated Nigerians agree with his findings.i ask him to show me one,he then introduced me to a Nigerian with a P.H.D .i asked the Nigerian when last where you in Nigeria ,he replied about 20 years ago,i laughed.i laughed because i know that the Nigerians abroad would say just about anything just to be accepted in the american elite society in fact they are ready to disown there family.i then turn to the Professor and asked him, have you been to Nigeria,he said no but they had a team on ground who gave them data for there findings.i told him the problem with your so called technocrat is that you isolate yourself from reality, come up with complex answers to simple questions to make yourself look smart then fail at the result but succeed in convincing the low minded that you are right.i told the Professor,if you told me rural areas have no road,i would agree, tell me they have no light i may agree, tell me they lack infrastructure i would agree,so also does some rural places in America lack the same amenities ,but to tell me we lack food then you lie,in my village we do not say thank you over food, because it is God given,we do not ask either before joining someone in a meal.he argued his life out, please note at this point all the so called educated people started looking at me with disgust as if i was stupid and yet less than 2% of them had ever been to Nigeria but they wanted to claim more knowledge on Nigeria than a Nigerian because they have some fancy certificate, some awards and there white that includes the black there because in there mind and conduct they where white.so i went on to even make there day more miserable,i immediately moved the conversation into Politics and i declared Donald trump the next President, this was Far before primaries, the hole room went into laughter mode and they even began to attack the person who invited me,for bring this ridiculous fellow,i didn't back down i went on to explain how the elections would be won.and i told them America is failing because of people in that room ,i told them they in that room are delusional and they rather than listen to majority of the people rather have ganged themselves and listen to only themselves speak.then the professor walk away from me and while he was leaving he hinted something about i been an uneducated ignorant person.so i then told him to prove me wrong and put his money where his mouth was,he then insinuated that i was a con artist,i told him put your money or keep quite,he had a bet ,he agree to $1000 on a ten to one bet just to prove to me how stupid i am.i would be in america again for the same event next year, and would i be a rich man on my return.i am quite sure that this time they would hate me even more but i would collect my money.the essence of this story is because the likes of Soyinka is not what Africa needs.he has a black skin but his mind is just like those in that room,he thinks he is wiser or better then everyone because he is a certificate holder, with some white man awards.what Africa needs are thinker and visionaries, those who go to the root feel the ideology and make it greater.

Racism, like the tribalism and nepotism practice by most African leaders and their followers is one human short comings that we must stand together to overcome. What obtains here in Nigeria is worse than racism. The other time, many Nigerians, including youth corp members, were lynched simply because someone lost an election.

Yea, it must suck to realize that the ignoble plan of you Mohammedans to conquer the West will not be a cake walk.

The West drove the Moors out. Reduced the Ottoman Empire to dust. And will do it again. Islamic supremacy is dead and buried in the West.

If you guys can't act as civilized beings and call your foot soldiers to order, you guys have no place in the Western world. Stay in the middle-east and kill each other off.

Wow, how genius of you, you have single handedly discovered our secret plan to which only 1.7 billion people are privy, and you have stumped us by voting in your demi god Trump. Well done my lad. Now please free me to go and weep in one corner at this final destruction of 1400 years of detailed takeover planning, while you go and fish out other world conquering plots to uncover and dismantle.

And keep off the James Bond movies in the meantime.

From The Novice Point of View (I) - AMERICA DECIDES - 2016

Americans are living in interesting times that lie between 2015 - 2020. For the first time they will either have a woman president or a president who is a businessman in real estate.

The result of this election will be a battle between logic, reasoning as against sentiments and man's innate wishes.

Donald Trump has explicitly demonstrated his temperament and character and he is well known by Americans.
Hillary is more of realism, stability, steadiness (even if slow) and "sureness"

Reminds me of Nigeria. It was often said before 1999 among my colleagues that if General Sanni Abacha and Chief MKO Abiola were to contest against each other in an election in Nigeria the winner will likely not be logic and reasoning!

All of you insulting Prof. Soyinka should take a chill pill, we all have our political differences, I supported Trump (even though its none of my business) but I cant insult Soyinka, none of you can stand where Prof stands
It is not about being able to stand where d prof has stood, it is not a question of filling his shoes, it is about Soyinka disgracing Yoruba land and Nigeria with his unguarded utterances. Because he is a prof or a noble laureate doesn't give him the right to run his mouth, boasting of things he cannot do.
I am not surprised about the continual insults the igbos pile on Yorubas. Soyinka and others are the reason. They speak before thinking and yet have no balls to act on their words. They are disgraceful cowards and its sickening.
ball-less and spineless mofos!

Professor , you are either trying to get cheap popularity or being senile. First , you will tear your green card now this. Everyone can speculate but someone of your caliber, age and intellect should not try painting Trump black.

Nigeria has been under a new administration you supported to power and you have been in the USA enjoying . Why not make comments on PMB and how Nigeria is bbeing run

I don't think a black man can destroy one another like what russia is doing in syria at this moment, bokoharam(us) also killed saddm. The history of this two bokos isn't right at all, the combination of boko(us) plus boko(rus) is equal to h£!!, I don't trust this two bokos,I suspect that:''the color of the former president is the source of this hate.'' their children are shouting white power at school.

In the post there's nowhere Trump said that.
Besides the US military isn't involved in the fight against Boko haram.
Successes recorded so far have all been the hard work of our boys in the military.

I think Prof. Whole Soyinka would do well to keep quiet now and stop digging himself deeper in the grave like TB Joshua. embarassed
Dude dnt b ignorant. Even general lucky irabor (theater commander of operation lafiya dole) in an interview acknowledged d huge role played by d Americans in reconnaissance & intelligence gathering (an area he said d military was seriously lagging behind) & whilst d fight against Bokoharam is far 4rm over, it's beta nw because we've started 2 c a few idps returning 2 their homes.

I'd still give full credit to our military boys who are on ground and dying to keep us safe.

You really think America wants to stop Boko haram? You're quite naive, pardon me.

If Boko haram is an offshoot of ISIS and America is the creator of ISIS, then what do you think?

THE NIGERIA SOLUTION: A MIND RE-DRIVE
Greetings to You Dear Mr. President, our Political Office Holders and my Fellow Nigerians, I suggest we make the best use of this tenure to fix the basic FOUNDATIONAL PROBLEM to all our problems as an emerging Great Country: the AVERAGE NIGERIAN MINDSET! Here we can fix the many issues of our Country by using 'ONE STONE to kill a thousand birds'.
Nigeria was not as bad as this, we started becoming like this when we started *THINKING WRONGLY *
Let us use the MIND RE-DRIVE STRATEGY. This is by renewing the minds of Nigerians (as many are with respect to Integrity, corrupt) through an AGGRESSIVE value reorientation campaign using all forms of Public and Private Agencies and media; Tv, radio, internet Print media, even the movies, musical artistes etc.
If the President through his powers ( with our Governors and other Political office holders) together with the teeming population can reproduce an 'Integrity' mindset in the average citizen, his work will be made much more easy in fixing Nigeria, cutting down the giant tree of Nigeria problems from its MAIN ROOT.
'Get a person to think of doing a thing AND he will ACTUALLY and ENTHUSIASTICALLY do it.' Get the Nigerian person to think of doing the right thing righlty AND he will ACTUALLY and ENTHUSIASTICALLY do the right thing rightly.'
Then will we have many 'high integrity persons' almost everywhere, fixing Nigeria. This way, the 'REAL POSITIVE CHANGE' will be deeply entrenched and sustainable for future generations.
It will surely take us time and much sacrifice, but we will get there if we persist!
A tree cannot make a forest alone, BUT CAN, through reproduction. Just Imagine if every Nigerian was thinking and acting with integrity at the various levels of our society, how our Country will be, Paradise!
If we fix our 'Integrity' values as individuals and as a Country, God helping us; Nigeria will become Paradise! _St. Nom S.
Pls share till it reaches everyone, We can be Great again, even Greater than ever before!!

Bokoharam is no offshoot of isis. It was created & I blv is funded by a sect of Nigerians (prime suspects include northern political & traditional leaders wt their cronies 4rm oda parts of d coun3). Isis is just their role model dey r trying 2 get recognition 4rm. Armed wt huge amounts of cash, dey were able 2 access weapons left over 4rm d Libyan revolution (resulting 4rm d failure of D US & allies 2 successfully disarm militias dey armed 2 overthrow Gaddafi). In 21st century warfare, fighting wt out intelligence is lyk fighting blind & deaf.

And isn't that exactly what our boys are doing? Fighting blind?

Location of the chibok girls is unknown.

The America that I know has ways with surgically precise black operations which would have been totally effective in rescuing the girls from the stronghold of the beasts.

Since I'm not involved in the Nigerian military I won't argue about whether indeed the US has afforded us their help.

But I'll hold on to the fact that the likelihood that the US is involved in sponsoring these criminals is very high.

I'd be interested to know what wikileaks has to say on this matter.

A ragtag unit that was all but conquered during Yar Adua's time festered under the clueless Jonathan and got more funding and weapons. From who?

Surely not the leftover cache of weaponry from Libya as you say?

Boko haram is definitely affiliated with ISIS.

Modus operandi et al.

Rubbish!

Typical Afonja.

When the US denied Nigeria arms, stopped Israel from selling us arms, coerced Saudi Arabia to deny us access to fly our arms across their airspace, all under GEJ, was that the support the US gave to us?

How about the US stalling, and waiting for Oritsejafor to address Congress before designating BH as a terror group?

Always like changing history.

Or is it the paltry millions they gave to MNUTF or the scrap mine sweepers they donated to us that we should be happy about!

The US can shove it's support where the Sun does not shine.

We were doing fine with the T72 tanks from Russia, the South African mercenaries, and our gallant men, until they foisted a seni.le terrorist on us who released boko haram commanders in exchange for phantom Chibok girls. Today, we've lost gallant men like Col. Ali that expelled terrorists from Baga and the days of steady killing of our soldiers are back.

We know the silly game 'em Obamas and Clintons were playing. Trump may not be perfect, but we know he is no Obama or a Clinton. And that's a plus in our book.

We'd send these terrorists to the great beyond with or without their help. We've done it before. We'll do it again.

Their plan to demonize Trump over here has failed already. Obama foisted Buhari the failure. Both himself and Clinton are dead to us. As he leaves the White House, let him not use the Negro race to score cheap points. Because he failed Africa (from Nigeria to Libya to Egypt). He should align with his Muslim heritage. His name is Hussein, ain't that right?!

-Lord
Soyinka pls tackle the issue in your country first,if you have got balls as claimed then tell buahri to is face that he is a mess, that the masses are suffering, all in simple grammer/ or hausa so that he will understand.live america and trump alone.
