Why did they even advertised cos they dont have intention of picking from there it seems the chairman is more interested in settling power people to make him minister of finance in future or cbn governor...no hope for nigeria youth ,buharis change is story....pls take off your mind off firs job cos i see very powerful people still bring list for the remain 490 slot the chairman can say no to apc chairman,nsa,cheif of staff,lamido adamawa oba of lagos tinibu sa etc one new chap appointed as assistant manager saw the 220 k salary he tol me the pay is too small for him that his apartment is 1.5 m in wuse that he moving to swf where the pay is 800k monthly....guys we dont have a nation..if u have way of becoming citizen of canada,australia pls do

There are less than 40,000 Chartered Accountants (Dead & Alive) in Nigeria and about 120,000 ANAN members. Which means that the total is not more than 160,000 (and of course all cant apply). The only area this may not be required is SL10- Tax Officer II, that is for trainee. If you apply for SL9 & SL8 without a Professional Accounting Certificate and no Masters, how do you think you will be considered among 700,000?. Kindly note that the basic requirements is first degree or HND with Professional Accounting Certification. It is a position for professional cadre. It would have been different if other departments had been considered but that had been filled through the secret recruitment of May 2016. This info is from an inside source.

I will suggest you keep faith alive and not believe all these heartbreaking news shared that is been hijacked by powerful people, it is fact that poweful alway get slot in every recruitment even private or state jobs but I can assure you many will get this job on merit. On inisder stuff, guy we all get insider feeding us one or two info, infact I have a guy who also entered May and on the same thread and he never said anything bad about this recruitment or been hijacked. I wont say more than this. Thanks

Anyway guys! Hw's d wait... my trusted source confirmed dt the petition and house of rep's inquiries has slowed down the process! it wsnt meant to be as delayed as this. It ws planned to be concluded this year! But he is optimistic that FIRS is still committed to rounding it up this year against all odds!

On the 2000 1st class issue, he said the chairman was onli tryin to emphasize on the number/credibility of people that registered. Not like al other grades aren't gonna be given a levelled playing ground

Besides he z dey ranked it according to no of degrees and not even d class of 1st degree

Eg: 2.2 with a good graded masters still has an upper hand to a 1st class

So on this note, let us all be hopeful for the 500 slots available as only God has the final say.. it cud be me, it cud be u

700 slots was actuali given out... chill guys! it is a normal practice and supported by law! He asked me to recall that fowler mentioned sometin abt gettin a waiver from federal character commission. Even d house of reps dt are summoning fowler has about 60 slots given to them!

Besides he told me that the 700 also applied so u can less dt amount from d total and from experience they still won't take all the slots
Irregardless of who submitted ur name, u must still pass the interview
