Job Prospects For A Chemistry Graduate by Hybrid01: 9:58am On Nov 12, 2016 |
Please I need advice from experienced people. I am about studying Chemistry in a Nigerian University which has always been my passion but due to the different stories i have been hearing so far, i am not so sure of my stand any more. I am not so sure about the job prospects of a Chemist. i was told almost everything in life is related to chemistry but I am not sure how true that is in real life. And I would appreciate if someone can help with the difference between a degree in Chemistry and a degree in Industrial Chemistry if there is any. I checked course outlines under Chemistry in the university and I was happy for what I saw but I just want to be sure if they are use able in real life. Thanks. And Which degree is more marketable between Biochemistry and Chemistry. Thanks. |

moshark06:So giving my opinion is a crime........ I only told him what I thought.... I'm not saying we don't have successful Chemists in Nigeria..... but there are a few of them.......And I said its not advisable, so he won't end up using the degree to work in another field ( eg Marketing, Banking)......... Chemistry is his passion and I asked him to pick pharmacy which is related to Chemistry.........Its now his choice for him to accept the advice or not |
