Little things are achieved by little minds, great minds dream bigger, work harder to give their big dreams wings to fly, an average mind can not create anything big but could have it by inheritance, this, would be down to right place, right time and chance..this again, happens often in hollywood, real life is about reality and truth. And if you are relying on mother luck to help you on a great cause, then you are most likely heading towards a fool’s paradise for a date with ill luck. So, rise up above average limits and go beyond those artificial boundaries, you are the architect of your destiny.

You are the one being economical with the truth or maybe you are just ignorant like others

I said ogun has four international stadium, am i wrong?
I said ogun has the highest number of public tertiary institutions, am i wrong?
I said ogun has the highest number of private tertiary institutions, am i also wrong with that?

Please i only entertain reasonable arguments

You said the industries in ogun doesn't produce for ogun alone, did i tell you the industries in ogun state should produce for only ogun state?
The fact that they are in ogun State is what am talking about

And what is the rubbish you people have been saying that mowe, ibafo are lagos extensions

Are you guys ignorant or what.

The question i will ask you is that if really mowe, ibafo are ogun state towns. ?

It's not my fault that anambra is far from lagos.

You should read the factors that leads to localization of industries and tell me the benefits of localization of industries to the host community , maybe then you will understand why I said those areas are urban areas.

The fact is most of you don't know the benefit of locating industries in some areas to the host community.

Besides I don't understand why abia is before oyo state.. Even enugu is not even there
You are right about the things you credited to Ogun state but those things do not really mean that a state is urbanized. What you have mentioned is geared towards "Development" rather than "Urbanization".

Lol, anambra is before ogun and oyo state.

Most people underrate oyo state.

Oyo state was the capital of old western region,
It has many industrial estates.
Ibadan is a commercial city, many don't know that

Ibadan was the largest city in west Africa.

Oyo people don't usually shout.

Ogun has cities. Ijebu ode, sagamu, ifo, sango
Ogun has the highest number industries in Nigeria, it is closer to the Benin border which makes it thrives economically

Ogun has the highest number of public tertiary institutions and private tertiary institutions.

Ogun alone has four international stadia, otunba Dipo Dina international stadium, ijebu ode, sagamu international stadium, ilaro international stadium, and Mko Abiola international stadiums.

Ogun has olokola free trade zone in collaboration with ondo state.
Ogun has numerous industrial estates in mowe, ibafo, agbara, Ota etc..
The concentration of industries in many towns has changed most of these places to urban areas.
Abeokuta has one of the best roads in the country apart from the few federal roads

I don't know what your definition of urban means again
Just see the rubbish you typed to prove your intelligence sad

I think from my little O'level understanding urbanization is the gradual increase in the number of people living in the urban area. It is a shift in population of people from rural to urban areas. It means the number of towns in that particular state that can boast of having that shift in population in previously rural area as a result of likely economic activities. Some states have their urbanisation spread while others are concentrated in a particular area. There is no need for quarrels we can argue this like people who went through the four walls of the university. PEACE.

My friend push your lazy ass up tour round Nigeria you will understand, Anambra is highly urbanized state with 62% of its population living in urban areas Anambra is second most densely populated state after Lagos state, The major urban centres of Anambra state are Onitsha including Okpoko, Nnewi, and Awka. Awka and Onitsha developed as pre-colonial urban centres with Awka as the craft industrial centre of the Nri hegemony; and Onitsha the city state on the Niger and a river port and commercial centre, Onitsha is a fast-growing commercial city, and has developed to become a huge conurbation extending to Idemili, Oyi and Anambra East LGAs with one of the largest markets in West Africa. Nnewi (the Taiwan of Nigeria) is a rapidly developing industrial and commercial centre; and Awka, by becoming the state capital.
Other main towns of Anambra state are: Abagana, Ekwulobia, Enugwu Ukwu, Ogidi, Okija, Ozubulu, Nkpor, Obosi, Igbariam, Oko, Obosi, Ogbunike etc
which weed u smoke ? y u hate NNEWI (ANAEDO). so nnewi is post colonial forgetting dat it was d obi of nnewi dat coronated d igwe of onitsha and elevated him to an obi.b4 u forget d igwe of nnewi is d first igboman to own and drive a car in Nigeria. why d hate .

please next time pls don't add nnewi in ur posts.we can represent ourselves

Nsukka has a university and other institutions but it doesn't make it an urban area. The four "international" stadium you mentioned are just normal places football is kicked. show me the real environment of the Ogun state you are shouting, please do. The Ogun state I know very well just started rearing its head out in this Amosun regime I.e Abeokuta itself.

You made mention of mowe, apart from the industries who cannot find land in Lagos and had to settle in nearby state, what other activities can be found in those areas I.e mowe, ibafo, etc.

Ogun state is coming up.

Egbon, mo ti lo gbogbo igboro ti e jabo. E ma lo ma kowa he, se gbo?

Let me save you from your ignorance.

I finished from funaab in abeokuta, alabata in odeda local government,

When funaab was to be moved from isale igbein to its permanent site in alabata, they had to construct roads, bringing funaab to the area brought electricity to the area and water, most of the inhabitants of the place were engaged in one work or the other either. .SME 'S started thriving, many were employed in the University.

Now before then, there was just villagers staying there, nobody wanted to stay at obantoko, eleweran, asero axis etc but citing of the University changed all that.
Modern houses were built, filling stations etc.
The indigenes stopped migrating to inner abeokuta instead they stayed in their domain and they earned their living.

Now what am I saying is that citing of funaab in odeda local government has improved the economic activities in the area, brought more Jobs, infrastructures, good private buildings, electricity and water. And these are the things you will find in an urban area .

The fact that your Nskuka is not thriving despite a university there is not my fault, or maybe Nsukka has been destined to remain a village

Now you said even if an international stadium is cited in a village then the village will remain rural.. See, this shows you are ignorant and don't even know what you are saying. So going by your analogy even if a airport is cited in a village then the village will remain rural abi

Go and read up location of industries in secondary school economics textbook and factors that determines localization of industries.

A place is urban judging by the infrastructures in the place.
Sagamu stadium hosts NPL matches likewise ilaro stadium too.

And you said they couldn't find land so they had to buy land in ogun, like i said earlier, whose fault is it that they chosed to buy land in ogun? Besides lagos is a yoruba state and it's none of your business if yoruba states are benefiting from each other.. .Work on how imo will benefit from anambra.. ..instead of your normal e-fights here on nairaland.

And also those people that works in ibafo, mowe etc
Please where do they stay? Don't they build houses there?

Most of these industries construct roads for their host communities. The communities benefit from them, an indigene of agbara, Ota, sagamu, ijebu ode don't need to come to abeokuta, why? It's because they are urban towns and they have the necessary facilities.

Most of you are just ignorant.
Just go through your economics textbook, read more on location of industries, maybe you will understand

If U must know,Anambra is even more industrialised than Abuja, ask Ur brothers who know Anambra well, unless there's another definition of industrialisation wc does not include industries.

Development leads to urbanization.
And also modernization, industrialization.

Those areas have shifted from being rural to urban areas due to infrastructures in the place.

The population in those places is enormous, people are migrating even from abeokuta to ifo, sango, Ota etc
