Letter of recommendation from school which school are you talking about please ....formal or new school..??
i can see 2 places you have asked this same question showing you are bothered/care.i am responding to this question on behalf of others too.People tend to add or curious about some documents of any successful applicant without considering if it's a requirement or have an impact or relevant.some1 for example who is in lagos and schooled in the Eastern part of Nigeria, may want to travel down, wasting T.fare just to go get recommendation letter to add to his/her TRV application because Mr.A who was successful added it.TRV application is somehow a stressful journey if you indeed did everything without the aid of an Agent.(going to bank and building account na1 kind stress on its own for those who did). There are some documents which people just add, those documents i may call it optional or just overdoing or being oblivious of its irrelevance while most atimes, some documents are being added to an application to support A CASE.in essence, Recommendation letter from your undergraduate school is not needed for TRV application except only if you are working for your undergraduate school(employed) during the time of TRV application. It only satisfies weighted requirement during application for school admission.

grin grin grin..... We all love Canada too.

To your question, it depends on what the person wants to do in Canada, is he going to school, to work.. Etc

If he already has an Msc from Cyprus shouldn't he be talking about a PhD program undecided or does he want to do another Masters degree in Canada..

For a PhD admission, his 2:2 degree results doesn't really have much role to play provided he did well in his Masters degree, and more especially if he did a Thesis/Research based Masters. (And some other requirements)

There are many ways to migrate to Canada, but one sure easier way is through a study permit!!

And 2:2 graduates also get admitted into some Canadian Universities and colleges, I'm 100% sure. But this is dependent on many other aspects and requirements.
Can the person AFFORD CANADA TUITION NOW?

Anyways, enlighten the house more on your questions, situation.
Ask that SOMEONE YOU KNOW to explain better on his/her intentions...

Congratulations to those who have gotten their TRV, so happy for you guys.

@ Mcowubaba....Well,the reason y he is considering maybe anoda msc or even a pgd is cos he learnt that canadians do value their own certificates alot,so he feels his msc cert from cyprus may nt rilli be recognized..He wants to come over to work, settle down, marry(he will be 23 yrs _2018 wen he ends his msc) and become a citizen......Whats ur view pls

Thanks Ray12345.
My advice to everyone waiting for a response from IRCC. Just keep believing in God, trust me he can turn the impossible to the possible. Despite submitting my application late I was able to get TRV in just 18 working days. You all should keep believing and keep praying hard and it would come trust me. I wish you all success and hopefully y'all would share your testimonies soon.

He will become a citizen of Cyprus ?

I think the person in question should come and ask the questions himself
U didn't answer any of the questions I asked you initially.

A Masters degree from Cyprus can get a PhD admission in Canada, why not undecided who told you it can't undecided

Even a Nigerian Master degree holder is eligible for PhD admission in Canada. As far as it's in line with the PhD program.
Unless he just wants to do another Masters degree or a PdG, that's his own wahala.
Is he not sure of what he is learning in the Masters program in Cyprus ?

This is a simple situation, he should apply for a PhD program, if he feels that he won't be eligible for that, he can apply for whatever he feels he will be eligible for.

And relax, the person in question will be completing the Masters program in 2018, that's not even so close.
Things change, Policy change. Immigration laws change. Too early to start worrying.

Good day My Nairaland Family,
Trust your day is going on smooth. Thank God it’s Friday.

Please, i want my family (my husband and 2 children ages 6 and 4) to join me here in Canada.
I am currently a student in my 1st semester of my second program, my second semester is internship and then I will qualify for the post-graduation work permit. I will be graduating in April 2017.

1, Should we apply for a visiting visa or spousal open work permit?
2, who will submit the application, my husband in Nigeria or me online?
3, How can I attach a 2nd cousin (14years) that has been a great assistance since my departure?

Kindly advise or share your experience.

Thanks and God bless

Then I guess a case specific enquiry is apposite in the circumstance. You should address these concerns raised in the email via CSE .

As long as the University has DLI, then it is recognized. Simple fact.

Although Vancouver is an expensive city to live in, i don't think you need up to $25k per year for living expenses as a student. Plus or minus $10k should be enough based on the way you wanna live a lifestyle.

Monthly rent is usually the main expense.

Hello did she apply for TRV with the school?

pweetiesuzie:
Good day all. I would like to make an enquiry. A colleague of mine got admitted into University Canada West for their MBA program for fall 2017. Considering that the school does not require gmat if one have 2 or more years of work experience in the field of Administration, i may be considering the school for my MBA program. Please i need to know if the school is okay, (though it is listed in the dli recommended by cic) as i may apply for admission next week.
Note: application form admission is free
