Eruditor:Two starters missing bro. Not that it would've change much but the score could've been respectful. |

SIRcumalot:Bro when the playoffs come any athletic wing can be put on Thomas to slow him down. This is why you would need a bit of size unless you can shoot like Steph Clippers are regular season masters. No be today |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 6:49pm On Nov 19, 2016 |
A40:He'll still put up points. Long limb guys are guarding him now and he still drawing fouls and scoring. The Celts roster is very good and once they survive this injury scare their record will show it. Make we dey watch the clippers then. |

What a game in Detroit!!!. Glad to see D. Carroll and Al back. The final minute of the game buttresses why we need our healthy core. #greenrunsdeep |

lolawilliams:This sounds like a good idea. But banking on games that fall BTW our 12&4 would limit me to just eastern conference home-games. Any game after then wd probably zaaaap all my data beyond 25mb. I wd try this out one of these night. Thanx |

lolawilliams:I thought Bulls is going to win Clippers after the end of third quarter, because they have been strong since the begining. Clippers still topping Western conference table |
| Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 5:09pm On Nov 20, 2016 |
ipledge10:The Bulls blew their lead and let the Clippers back into the game with poor defense and shot selection. I wonder why Lopez was out for portis towards the end when Lopez could have added some few more rebs. They need to maintain and improve momentum late in games, that's just it. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by ipledge10(m): 5:18pm On Nov 20, 2016 |
lolawilliams:same thing almost happened to Warriors, Buck tighten their defense and improved their attack. Thanks to Green Bucks would have won the match |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 6:58pm On Nov 20, 2016 |
The Clippers look rejuvenated especially since they have their core healthy, However, i remain skeptical about their post season capabilities. Indiscipline has always been one of the biggest draw backs for this team. Led by CP3 who is a magnificent PG, in the same vein he is quite susceptible to technical fouls as he is always questioning referees or making derogatory side comments/ whispers. This was evident against the Bulls last night, reminiscent of previous post season outbursts. I think in M. Speights they have an interior bench scorer that can force centers away from the rim, and more importantly make free throws in contrast to Jordan. However, their style of offense remain predictable, which plays into the hands of other team coaches especially in the western conference. Blake Griffin would have to dominate under the rim, i am not buying his regular season jump shots and ball handling. For CP3's sake, i hope they make a deep run, but i am still skeptical about the Clippers. |

birdman:Taa. They're not starting to; or looking like, or reaching anything of the Warriors last season let alone this new Avengers. So because they gave a blowout to short handed Pacers, other teams should be scared? Definitely not Any team looking like a 65+ winning team now na Cavs and Clippers especially the former (because of the conference) |

The warriors didn't lose their core, everyone is acting like they lost someone integral to their team so lets underrate them. That would be finish of any team. They lost speights and boguts. They added zaza, and mcgee a shot blocker. They added kevin durant like thrice of harrison barnes and speights put together. Anyways, i am just waiting for the playoffs |

The Lakers are a sweet team to watch I swear.. Westbrook just never wants to learn or listen.. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:43pm On Nov 23, 2016 |
Decale:These Warriors have no interest matching last season's regular season exploits. Its a pointless exercise if it becomes a factor that could cost you a Chip. That being said I'm struggling to see how these Warriors lose more than 17 games. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:52pm On Nov 23, 2016 |
Incredible impact Jrue Holiday has had on the Pelicans since his return. Would be fun to see how far they can go if Davis stays healthy SmooshCHN:The Warriors run when Kerr went down sold me on Walton. What the Lakers play now and how they did under Byron Scott the difference is too clear. What happened to Byron Scott? He used to be a good coach. I remember what he did with the Nets back then As for Westbrook I think he did his best last night but mere looking at the Warriors play compared to how it used to be in OKC you would be unreasonable to not understand why Durant opted to leave |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:23pm On Nov 23, 2016 |
SmooshCHN:I don't think anyone is sleeping on the Warriors, no one should, if anything, I kind of disagree with their Villain identity this season. It is virtually impossible for the Warriors to play under the radar this season, not after adding the purest scorer in the league. The expectations are fair, and i believe they have the roaster to win the western conference. Like i mentioned in my previous post, i am not buying the Clippers, especially not with regular season records or display. The Spurs, Rockets, Thunder, Trailblazers, Thunder and Grizzlies are either not deep or talented enough. The western conference is the Warriors to lose |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:33pm On Nov 23, 2016 |
SmooshCHN:Stat-padder Westbrook. What makes him great also makes him stoopid. 5secs on the clock with 2 viable options left and right. Adams for the easy dunk or West brook can drive right and hit his lay up or off-the glass shot. My guy thought to himself "Am I not Curry?" Stepped back and launched a fatuous 3. I could not stop laughing. I am sure KD laughed too telling his mum "that's exactly why I left OKC" |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:38pm On Nov 23, 2016 |
Roland17:Spurs look slower and less athletic. I wonder why because I think Pop tried to fix those issues following last season. James Harden is much improved this year trying to make the assists in the first 2 quarters and then carry the game later on. I think along with GSW and Cavs they rely on the 3-ball a tad too oft. For that reason, they may struggle. I still fear the Clippers for this very reason; they are not so reliant on the 3-ball. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 7:09pm On Nov 23, 2016 |
Eruditor:You made a good observation about the Spurs. Historically, Pops game has not been predicated by pace, however, the current pace of his team is quite slow. Also, new pick up Pau is a horrible pick and roll defender, he not better under the rim either, this also accounts for the pace of offense. My problem with the Clippers has been historical (Mental, Behavioral and Tactical indiscipline) . Do u notice players like JJ Redick and DJ rarely play 4th quarters? they would have to rely heavily on their bench to carry them through the conference during the post season. Also, Griffin would have to play with power under the rim. In a bid to expand his game, with the inclusion of jump shots and 3's, i think he is gradually straying away from his "barbecue chicken"!!!!which is under the rim. During the post season, the games slow down, it becomes a half court game. half court games mean you have to build offense through tactics because easy transition buckets would become difficult. Griffin's jump shot can be taken away by opponents during the post season. Their offense would have to rely on CP3, Speights and a streaky J. Crawford who has struggled this season. I just hope they stay healthy this post season, and if they fail to get to the conference finals i think it would be appropriate to call them a bust. |
