There was panic in Benue State Government House on Monday after a car exploded and went up in flames.

DAILY POST gathered that the car was on its way into government house when it exploded and caught up in heavy inferno.

The timely intervention of the Fire Service men stopped the fire from causing more havoc.

The driver was successfully evacuated from the car.

The incident sent many workers and passersby to their heels as they thought it was a terrorist attack.

I don't understand. Most Governor's Offices I know are usually very large compounds with several buildings. Was the car heading toward the compound, or directly going into the specific office of the governor?
