MMM means Mavrodi, Mavrodi, and Melnikova. It is the first letter in the surnames of the three founders of a popular Ponzi Scheme that is fast developing around the world. The scheme was developed by Sergei Mavrodi, his brother Vyacheslav Mavrodi, and Olga Melnikova. After the company's creation in 1989, its founders tried importation and other types of businesses before starting their Ponzi scheme in 1994 which attracted funds from so many private investors.

The scheme, which started in Russia spread has started to spread to other parts of the world. So many scandals and claims have trailed the founders. The MMM Scheme started in Nigeria in 2016, promising a 30% returns on investment within a space of 30 days. This has generated so many controversies and Nigerians now wonder if they should keep their money in banks or generate more income through the Ponzi scheme.

It is interesting to know that a man was so rich that one of the leading banks in Nigeria contacted him to deposit a huge amount of money into his account. He asked a funny question," how much interest will you pay me, and what is the bank's collateral if I deposit into my account" The question seem absurd but it is true.

The MMM has not been without its own shortcomings. In fact, it has a lot of shortcomings. But it has proven itself to be much more rewarding than depositing one’s money in the bank. Below are the top 5 reasons why you should invest your money in MMM and not in the commercial banks.

No Bank Will Give You 30% Interest in 30 Days
You get Referral Fee
Your Network Keeps Increasing
You can Invest Your Profit
You Make More Money in a Short time

No Bank Will Give You 30% Interest in 30 Days
Keeping your money in the bank is like giving your money to an organization willing to do business with your money while you get nothing. The organization seems to be wiser than you all in the name of keeping your money. Even fixed deposit are less than 10% rewarding. So you can make a triple gain with the MMM.

You get Referral Fee
Unlike networking businesses where you have to bring people to make money, bringing people to invest in MMM affords you the opportunity to make more without interfering with your basic gain. You get a whopping 10% of how much the person is investing, you also get 20 dollars for new accounts. Your bank cannot be this rewarding.

Your Network Keeps Increasing
The number of referral you bring makes your network to keep increasing. So you can keep making money without investing a dime. This sounds crazy but it's real. You do not get money by referring family and friends to your bank. But you can get money by building a large community of investors in MMM

You can Invest Your Profit
Even without building a community, you can invest your gains without using your start-up capital. Because of the perceived risk involved, you can invest 50k and make 80k and invest the 30k again, this way, you keep generating more funds from your initial capital without investing your money. So it's a gain-gain situation.

You Make More Money in a Short time
You can make money without work. The only thing you have to invest here is patience. But this is ironical because even if you leave your money in the bank for 3 years exercising patience, you will not make as much money as investing in MMM. So you can only wait for a few days, to smile as your cool cash comes your way.

Still thinking, I used to feel the MMM was a fraud until I discovered that Nigerian banks also operate on the same pedestal. The 100 NGN and the 50 NGN that disappears from your account from time to time with no reasonable explanation should be accounted for. I am neither anti-commercial banks nor anti-MMM. The choice is still yours to make.
