you can use ur friend as co sponsor but try to suit it properly. Pay ur school fees. Prove your relationship with ur Aunt by providing ur mum birth certificate, Aunt birth certificate, your birth certificate and ur mum marriage certificate. Indicate your Aunt as the main sponsor. Get an affidavit from the two sponsors (each) explaining your relationship with them and the amount each will be availing to you yearly for the duration of your programme. Add your parents assets or your assets. If you are going for pgc/pgd, please justify ur reasons for choosing such programme.
Thank you so much bro. highly appreciated.

which school gave you the Meng program and in what discipline? Did you add sponsorship letter to this application?

lets assume someone got admission for a 1 year pgd programme after the first semester can one defer for like 3 months and resume for the 2nd semester later

No, once you have started your studies, you are not allowed to defer your admission. However, depending on the school, you may defer your admission for maybe another 1 year before you proceed with your studies.

Every institution has an intake period which are usually between 1-3 times within a year. You can only defer to another intake session and not by semesters.
Thank you and good luck!

Abeg o....how long does it take these professors to
get back to you....i have written to two professors
(yesterday) asking them to be my supervisors...yet
no response..i attached my CV and Degree
certificate to the mail i sent.
University of ottawa oooo.... MASc in chemical and biological engineering
1. Did they indicate on their research page they wanted graduate students?

2. There's no time frame, some after a week, some a month, others two-three months (I got a supervisor after 2 months)

3. Some will never reply... once they go through your documents and you're not what they are looking for, they will ignore.

4. Next time attach your transcripts(this will show how good/bad you performed in courses related to their research areas smiley

Goodluck

hmmm.. Thesame Canadian VOs refused moniker emma4ever for not responding to request of "providing sponsorship letter" and he was refused TRV though the deadline provided had not elapsed but the VO that handled his application was impatient enough to act otherwise..those VOs are unpredictable

You have the best answer already. To add more, for my course, UofOttawa was one of the schools which my email to all their faculty - with interest as mine- is yet to be replied ( started sending July). I emailed their Graduate Advisor about it and got a reply to try other related courses or school. Too bad the related course deadline was November 1 for fall 2017 entry. Yes! You read it well!.

My advise is to email as many professors as possible in your field of interest and in many schools. Don't rely on one school alone.

Also, at least for my field, there are schools that offer full funding and doesn't require getting supervisor before applying. Na research I do reach that level. Lolz. Bros/Sis, your masters research don start. I still dey do mine too. Wish us all the best.

Good luck!!

For your transcript,

Option 1- process your school to upload the official for you on a school website if that will be faster. Moral of it is that you can download it from some of these site. PM for such.

Option 2- tell your school to send official to a university/embassy/scholarship organization you have "leg" in and get a copy from there.

It will end in praise.

Its so pathetic that Study Permits could stay almost 5months as if its express entry application. I guess they forget about people's app, until an email or CSE is used to wake them up.

I know how you feel bro, even 15weeks is sickening and yours is 21weeks. But what can you do? If you have sent an email or CSE, you can only hope for the best. Look-up ACCRAIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca and accra.immigration@international.gc.ca
I really dont know the difference between the two emails, but I have only used the first and got a reply.

May this season bring good news to all TRV hopefuls

Turkish air to be precise!!!!
It is a well known fact that the route is constantly troubled in the recent times. Insurgent activities in the area is becoming incessant and worrisome..... even today!!! See attachment ... you cant be sure of the next target! The airport itself had been targeted couple of times. Better to stay safe.
Professional travel consultants will advise on best routes.

What of Egypt air?

Since you applied online, you can send to both Accra and lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca only when your app is more than processing times. Also don't forget to use CSE (Case Specific Enquiry) to present your case at https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=Accra&_ga=1.188567272.1966387489.1454328643
