Pastor Ayodeji Oluwadare of Hebrew church said Peter used his sword to remove the eye of one of the guys that came to arrest Christ.
Just imagine a "pastor" doesn't even know the Bible.
1)it was ear not eye.
2)it was the soldier's sword not Peter's.
Please tell that pastor to come thank me.
LOL

Separation of Church and State... why are taxpayers' paid Police protecting non tax paying Pastors?.... does touch not my anointed apply here?... or are they now telling us they are not anointed?....or is it the robbers and kidnappers are now so active and dangerous that God can't keep up to protect all of them all of the time? ... that it is foolish to think God alone can protect them? These Pastors always preach faith but are now publicly saying they have little or no faith in God.

but babalawo dont need police protection..are they more confident than pastors?
Re: ‘it’s Foolish For Pastors To Ignore Police Protection’ by Miles300: 11:36am On Nov 27, 2016
God has not withdrawn any protection , God protection comes in various forms , are u pastors humble enough before God and the people that follows u .. Do u bring urself close to ur people , respond to their needs in prayers and material needs ... Mr man of God if u touch lives and lead humbly among men , no one will want to harm u ... God think nd does things differently from wat man thinks
Re: ‘it’s Foolish For Pastors To Ignore Police Protection’ by martineverest(m): 11:38am On Nov 27, 2016
ironically, babalawos go about their daily activities without police escort.they are even more confident that they are untouchable/invincible/invulnerable/harmless.but our 'men of gods' who possess superior powers are sorrounded by security men for'xtra' security

It's really funny that pastors need maximum preferential treatments.

When they are sick, they visit the best hospitals and sometimes fly abroad for treatment or even medical check up.
Members would be told to pray that Jesus will heal them

When they are on the altar, moving or anywhere then a security details is needed.
Members would be told Jesus will protect them

During service, members will be threatened with hell fire and manipulate them that heaven is guaranteed for them when they pay their tithes while they enjoy the sweetness of the world

Members would be told to always pray and pray for everything while they do things in accordance with respective departments.

Who are the foolish members that still believe these thieves?

I don't think dez pastors have modest in their dictionary. If they are living a modest life they won't need police protection.
just for being modest alone, you are automatically an enemy of some who cant be modest. Just say that you are a virgin on Nairaland, you see many who are not asking'' WHO BEING VIRGIN EEP'' ?

And people will still foolishly attend their church, Paul, Peter, Steven to mention few did the gospel work without Romans soldiers.

If u must control crowd employ youth from your church and use that to control crowd. Stop giving us excuse here. Yahoo boys

Hahahaha, pastors no longer trust in God. These are people who claim to work miracles with just a touch or wave of hand. If they can cure Hiv or give sight to the blind, how come they are not able to stop ordinary kidnappers? God will surely expose fraudsters.

The best protection these god of men need is to lead a modest lifestyle devoid of ostentatious display of wealth. That is fundamental ethic of the gospel, as clearly demonstrated by Lord Jesus. If Jesus is their model, they won't be preoccupied with material possession. This article fail to ask why are they prime targets for criminals? Some of them are stupendously rich to extend that they can be compared to politicians - whose means of wealth is often questionable. If criminals know they don't have money, they won't risk their life going after them.

Re: ‘it’s Foolish For Pastors To Ignore Police Protection’ by pro2010: 12:19pm On Nov 27, 2016
The security at the churches and around the god of men is likened to what you find in government houses today. The supposed men of God are being guided with heavy security and are cruising around in armored vehicles while they ask their members to protect themselves with the blood of Jesus. (Anonymous 2016)

one wonders if the blood of Jesus cannot also cover the men of God?

If they knew who they are serving why will they need security escorts? even Elijah defeated 150 me himself when he commanded fire from heaven to consume them.

I feel you are a lukewarm member. You suppose to know if your pastor has bodyguard or not. Are you the type that chats while in church? With church do you attend?

Which security did the apostles n martyrs who went to propagate their gospel carry?

They knew two things will happen... they live or die yet they went

So if a pastor is leaving his station he should be prepared to die, for his God.

After all...after death COMES HEAVEN RIGHT?
