I paid N32k for a seat in economy class of Arik Air from

Lagos to Jos and was expecting to be served with at

least a nigerian standard plate of plain jollof rice. Lo and

behold, Arik gave me a snack pack worth N150!!!!!! Haba

You need to improve on what you serve your customers

in domestic routes as obtainable in other climes.

I dont understand, were you expecting pounded yam, egusi soup and bushmeat? Which "other climes"? I flew from Paris to Manchester in Air France and all they gave me was a small muffin and a "barbie" sized cup of tea.

After the buns or puff puff, you wash it down with that juice and take sweet so that ur mouth of our will not scare people away in the airport. Lol!

Just one-hour flight and you expect to be served what? If you were hungry for jollof rice why didnt you visit the restaurant at the airport and eat to your fill before boarding. Btw what they served you is worth more than 150. You should thank Arik for not only pampering you with 4 different items but also even fly barely profitable routes like Lagos -Jos in these harsh economic times when airlines are struggling to stay afloat.

I paid $80 from Toronto to Ottawa and its was just a small muffin and water they gave me. I didn't take it because I felt they may charge extra for it and I was feeling queasy from the way Air Canada fly almost vertically for the first fifteen minutes. Its the same all over the world , their breakeven margin is very tight

This is actually much for a short distance flight. I flew from regina to calgary for $150...expensive for a 1hour flight, and all i was given was a tiny biscuit and a small cup of water....
Next time...chop at the airport before you board.

Honestly, in the grand scheme of flying, they did well in offering that on a short flight.

Many US airlines don't offer that much, or anything at all. Except on longer hauls of 3+ hours.
Then again, flight food is usually crappy anyway, so who cares. Eat before you fly, or take something to snack on.

Same with Azman flight from Kano to Lagos.

I once slept off after take-off and the guys couldn't drop it for me. I was the only one on my row so no one to wake me up.

Since then, I try to collect my 'package' before sleeping. They sometimes give me a bottle of 1.5l LaVoltic water, when I disturb them like thrice to refill the small cup they give out.

Azman is okay though, given it started as a regional operator.

dubai to doha is only an hour and about $200. They also get served with sandwich and juice so what exactly is your complaint? Its the same on all short haul flights across the world

Local flights are usually short hence its just little snack. Happens all-over the world, like others have pointed out.

Aero served me and others one big eva water in a very small disposable cup. In the end they served just two big bottles of water for everybody.
