You can tell the VO when ask question like 'what have you been doing since you finished underG'. You can say I went for a compulsory NYSC at blalalala after which....

NYSC is a Nigerian thing only ......... Outside of Nigeria who even knows what NYSC is , so it not a criteria for Visa or MSC or anything needed outside of Nigeria but a good to have just in case you ever want to go back to Nigeria.

It means you application is been reviewed further after the interview by a consular officer ............. Inorder words double checking your whole application . Nothing you can do but wait and hope that they stick to their initial decision of giving you the visa. If they spot any discrepancy then yes they can change and deny the visa .

Use google,
Search for schools in the state you feel suits you then if u want to know about their tuition just search "schools name and add tuition fee".
And to let u know, estimates varies especially for undergrad and grad.
Overestimate for flight varies too but 500k plus depending.
And also Visa fee overestimate is 60k but nw I think it's 54,400naira.
Undergrad over estimate for tuition:$17000-30000. Per year
Grad over estimate:$20000-30000 per year
And mind you, it varies these are rough estimates,depends on the school and your financial stand.

Not so silent follower. . Appointment was for 9:15 and I arrived by 8:00 a.m at the Lagos Consulate. The queue was very long and by the time we entered I was already tired and couldn't wait to get it over with.

Anyways here's my transcript
VO. Hello again ( he took my finger print earlier on )
Me : hello (with a smile)
Vo: Can u pass your passport and i20
I handed it over to him
Vo: What will you be doing in America
Me: I am going to pursue a masters degree in business administration and management at stratford uni in Virginia

Straford Uni ..... you are lucky ooo. i remember this Uni name come up last fall as a potential blacklisted school (although u can never fully confirm if anything is blacklisted or not except insider info from a VO)..... anyway congrats and God bless your new journey

Outside of Nigeria NYSC is meaningless and worthless.

they are making thorough check on you to confirm if u re genuine.... its shouldn't take nothing less than 2days for u to get ur visa....Now, it seems u re under intense check-up men...in the next few days if u didnt get it..try to mail dem...
