Been to Erin Ijesha waterfall, and it was breathtaking ! I was able to access only the 3rd level though. Am curious @Bbsharon how you managed to get past 3rd level because i know people (especially girls) ain't allowed access to the 4th level and so on cos tis quite dangerous. Nice tale about your reaching the 7th(top) level. You ought to have known that lots of people have been to the waterfall and can attest to the fact that NOBODY has been able to access the 7th level after the incident about the white man falling during the climb |

An interesting place. I will like to pay a visit when I am over there. There are not many nature reserves in Nigeria. All the trees have been cut down for fear of witches and meagre timber sales. Sacred grounds destroyed for fear of demons and fear of provoking white man's god. |

olumirin water fall in osun should be classic tourist centre but the place isn't just cared for... compare olumo rock, idanre hill, igosi warm spring although have not been to that |

that place is cool. I was there when I was serving in Ekiti state in 2013. could only climb to level 5 of the waterfall. the hill to negotiate to see the 3rd waterfall is very steep. Tourism is the REAL BAE |

The immediate female regent of the town where the olumirin water falls is situated died two days ago and was buried yesterday. It is so painful because she was a relative and this is the time she ought to be enjoying her labour. She ll be missed. Adieu. |

Mekzyzeus:Nice try for trying to discredit my opinion in a subtle way too. I was there Jan 2014 and i repeat again we got to the 7th floor. And even this last time some guys tried to get to the 4th floor but got back later as it was getting late. There is no restriction whatsoever as there is no guide accompanying any one. Please if you have the opportunity to reach anyone in Oau 300 level or 400 level chemistry student they had tell you the tale of how we all got there the 7th floor exactly and the village am talking about. I wonder why I would just sit down and frame those stories ![]() |

Mekzyzeus:The indigenes do climb it to the other side where Ekiti is and they have been to the seventh floor countless times. There are farmers cultivating on the seventh floor n it actually looks like a plain. I know this cos my grandma, mom and other relatives on my maternal side have climbed it. My grandma told me she used to climb it with wares on her head to Ekiti in those days. I ve relatives there, I go for holidays there but ve been lazy to climb. |
