I fully agree with Jose when he says his team has played better football than team above us. Arsenal as usual look good in parts but look missing for most of the match. City and pep have been just piss poor and he has also spent £160 million.

I was able to catch up on the replay & I have to admit that was a complete team performance. I was impressed with the quality of defense; tho I think Jones did a tad better than Rojo with ball-winning tackles even higher up the pitch, but I'm more impressed with Rojo mainly because this was a guy who only 6 weeks back had the fans return his shirt from the stands (according to reports) for pathetic displays.

The midfield was tight enough & Pogba was impressive in my view. Having two power houses like Dembele & Wanyama bump you all over for 90mins is not easy. A small frame player like Mata in his position yesterday would barely get a sniff. He holds the ball a little longer & still does the unnecessary drimble but it's obvious the frequency is decreasing rapidly. Should have had @ least a goal. Superb effort on the free kick.

It's however disappointing how we seem to invite pressure from the second half especially if we are in front, it may be good tho if the counter moves that is beginning to show with Mkhitaryan's involvement keep flourishing.

Herrera is the player who gives stability to the team, take Herrera away from this team, you will see Manu become cowardly and dominated in the midfield against technical teams. To me Herrera is the player Mourinho can't do without in Manu, he has really helped the team in terms of pressing. At times when he goes for the ball, and he couldn't retrieve the ball, he points to space where any surrounding Manu players should cover so as to retrieve the ball back.

Bros leave Rojo for CB abeg oo.. No need to touch dat centre for now plus Baily and Jones are RCB, dunno he they would fit in the defence. The only flexible CB we have is Smalling and he isn't available atm.
