Actually, my reply was to one of your brothers that was comparing anambra to ogun.

Go back to the first page on this thread.

Yorubas have rubbished those claims with facts.

The op is only being mischievous

The op compared southwest technocrats with south east technocrats, thus massaging the ego of the igbos on this forum. .the igbos in return jumped on this thread and used the opportunity to insult yorubas, Ofcourse the yorubas will insult them back.. So preach this your epistle to your igbo folks , that they should mind their business.

The op said our education in west is socialist oriented, we have rubbished those claims, even the igbo capitalist he was comparing us with schooled in the west .ngozi Okonjo iweala, Ben akabueze, willie Obiano, oby ezekwesili etc so can we also say they have the Awolowo socialist orientation?

The op excluded lagos because of just one person, Ben akabueze former commisoner for budget and planning.

But the same Ben akabueze is the special assistant to buhari on budget and planning. So why can't we see his capitalist tendencies there?

The op forgot that Ben akabueze schooled in the south west and not in the east ,he has our orientation here. Besides lagos state house of assembly makes the laws for lagos and we have an executive committee full of yorubas that is implementing these laws.

Okay ambode didn't appoint any igbo technocrat or whatever in his cabinet and his cabinet is doing fine without igbo support or whatever.

And again, we have told you many times that all south west states operates a socio-capitalist system. And that is what fits us.. The logic the op is giving us is that south west economy is bad because of its socialist policies which is wrong.. Lagos and ogun contributes the highest GDP in the country more than any state including the anambra you people like comparing ogun state with.

Ogun is being owed around 220 billion naira or so by the fg more than any other State government, so the op stance that ogun has huge debts is inconsequential.

Ogun state isn't even a socialist state.. It's more of a capitalist state.

And i think even socialism pays and that's why we don't troop to other people's region because we believe we can survive in our region unlike some people that will jump on the next available bus to the south west and still have the mouth to say their region is developed more than the region they are trooping to for daily survival.
What a fallacy.

Mike adenuga, Funsho Arakija, femi otedola, oba otudeko, kessignton adebutu etc are capitalists
We have many more with their industries here in ogun state but they don't make noise like some people that will come here to tell us about one ozubulu billionaire.

Most south west are conservatives.

I won't have joined in the comparison between south west and south east but even this thread and topic already is made up of comparism.

So we just have to debunk all these baseless comparism hence the reason most of us are mentioning south east.

I believe the issue has been addressed

Okay... I'm composed now. I promise there will be no outburst.

Ladiguy, seriously every time and I mean every single time I read your posts, it takes 100 angels to hold me from lashing out. One hundred and no number less. You have a way of rubbishing and saying terrible things about Igbos and I take offense in your offensive choice of words.

I want to plead that one of two things happen today, that you henceforth comment without being tribalistic or kindly unfollow me before I do that. And I can't promise the unfollowing will be smooth if you make one more generalist stereotypical comment again.

I have loads of Yorubas, a few northerners as well as southerners, atheists and Muslims on my followership, I respect them all and I'm careful about not overstepping my bounds when I drop a comment on this forum. I advice you do same.

Take into account the peculiarities of the Nigerian socio-cultural and ethno-religious diversities of this platform whenever you click the reply or quote button.

Thank you.

This comment just made me laugh because I rarely check these kind of threads and even this one, I don't know what it's about. I only came in because I didn't like what I saw and I have no idea who started what.

If IPOB (whatever this means) throws e-punches in the air and there's no one to receive it, it will fall to the ground and die and that's their loss. But when they know you are around and 'willing' to fight back, they'll throw more and more at you. And there's never an end to it. One day, One trouble. New threads with the same agenda in mind being created for the same purpose. Just look at the number of pages of this thread, nothing relevant! Waste of data and English!

Me, I personally don't enjoy reading these kind of things that's why I blurted out.

IPOB means Indigenous People of Biafra. Since you do not read such threads, I will not offend your sensibilities by asking you to do a content analysis of what their members post online. Anyone who disagrees with their point of view no matter how little, is vilified, hounded and subjected to cyber bullying and hate. His tribe is demeaned, castigated and denigrated for every real and imaginary offence known to man. Their vitriolic rhetoric is something else. angry

If their e-insults and cyber punches are not refuted by other tribes, before you know it - their fiction will start masquerading as fact, and such untenable 'facts' might end up becoming legend. And that is where things start going downhill. sad

Lists Nigerians who were ever Grammy award nominees

https://www.thecable.ng/6-years-nigeria-wins-grammys-olusola

At the 57th edition of the Grammy awards, which held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, Nigerian Kelvin Olusola and his team, Pentatonix, won in the Best Arrangement, Instrumental or Acappella category.

Olusola thus joined a growing list of Nigerians to have won the award after Helen Folashade Adu (better known as Sade Adu), Henry Adeola Samuel (popularly called Seal) and Sikiru Adepoju.

In 1986, at the 28th Grammy awards, Sade Adu winning with her band, Sade, as Best New Artiste, became the first Nigerian to win in the prestigious awards.

Ten years later, another Nigerian, Seal, won the Grammys Record of the Year and Song of the Year awards for his song Kiss from a Rose, a song which was remixed as a soundtrack to Batman forever.

Sikiru Adepoju won the Grammy in 1991 and 2009 as a part of Mickey Hart’s group, Planet Drum, whose albums won the award for Best Contemporary World Music Album for the two years.

Many other Nigerians have been nominated but lost out to other nominees.

The first Nigerian to be nominated for the award was King Sunny Ade, in 1983 for his album, Synchro System. He was re-nominated in 1998 for his collection of Yoruba songs Odu, becoming the first African to be nominated twice.

Femi, son of controversial Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, has been nominated for a Grammy award four times. He was nominated in 2003, 2010, 2012 and 2013, but did not win any.
we all know say na Yoruba's go dominate the list u posted. flat heads will continue hating. In ranking unn cannot come near this universities. The region with the highest number of higher institution is south west

Madam, there is absolutely NOTHING in my post that justifies cyber bullying. So kindly re-read my post with an open mind.
